They should have got "Gold Buzzer" i was born mute but, growing up i was in Speach 'n' Language so, i still look lips as if, i am still mute it helps w/ understand 50% of wat ppl say if, the words r short i have a easier time but, if, there is too many words spoken like in meetings i black out looking @ the room feeling like a freak. Watching this made me feel i am not a freak & it is okie to b different, that's the vibe i got from watching this. I'm sorrie if, some my words r abit messed up pls excuse my dyslexia. I am trying to work on that. My fiancé is also, helping me out, too. I have done better, dramaticly w/ longer words & understanding 70% of wat i am reading all throu the help of 1 app "Readict". I have finished 2 chapter books & bot only i am proud of myself but, so is my fiancé & my parents. My brain's age is 15 & reading level is no longer @ a 2nd or a 3rd grade level. I read my 2nd chapter book & finished it w/ in 4 days max & i was so, proud of myself that i am re-reading about the vampire, Warlocks & humans who live over 50yrs. I knu it is fictional but, i am obsessed w/ this book that i cannot place it down. If, some of u r wondering wat was the 1st chapter book it was called "Pregnant and Homeless", i am addicted to this fictional story, as well. I cannot believe it took me yrs to find "Readict" app i wish i had found it sooner.=⌒.⌒= it is fun getting to read chapter books w/ over 45 or 50 pages & finally getting to understand wat i am reading w/o a white or pale page filled w/ black writing which, was always feeling as a distraction but, a black background & white words that u urself can my smaller or larger is a blessing that i can have that opportunity, w/o distractions. I highly recommend "READICT" to ppl who have a reading difficulties &/or dyslexia.

Think of it like dance. It’s the same concept, to perform something beautiful. It’s a different kind of art that some people can’t understand because they can hear and it might seem boring without sound (that’s probably the only reason why they added hearing singers, so the audience wouldn’t get bored)

I'm not deaf, but I know ASL. I had a friend, a best friend. He was deaf-mute. I was 9 or 10 back then, and he was the only person I hung out with and trusted. Even though he was unable to hear, he was still bullied and hated. After like 3 years, He passed away, and I found it hard to talk. I didnt talk for months. I wanted people to know that deaf and mute people can have feelings too. ...well it didnt help much, but at least some of the people learned what respect and love means.

She has a cochlear implant which means she can actually hear her speak as well as read her lips but if she takes it out she can’t hear it’s like a hearing aid but more effective only some people have it.

Shame on Ireland's Got Talent for not including subtitles on this video. 1) Not everyone watching this can hear 2) Not every deaf person knows sign language 3) Sign language is NOT universal! American Sign Language is different from French sign language is different from UK sign language and so on. There needed to be subtitles for the spoken word and the signed words.
