Bi-Han was never a good person. He was a thief and a murderer who killed anyone his superior told him to. Quan Chi and the Lin Kuei Grandmaster may have been the ones to arrange the deaths of the Shirai Ryu clan, but Bi-Han clearly didn't care when Scorpion confronted him in the Nettherealm. And Bi-Han clearly says "to hell with your clan" in MK9. At bare minimum, Hanzo deserved payback because he was killed by Bi-Han.

Bi Han was Noob Saibot all this time and i never knew. Its crazy how we're getting Bi Han back in the new Mortal kombat game and it just hits different for me because i don't anything about the lore, i don't know much about the characters, and i don't know a lot of characters that have been in the old games....honestly i didn't even knew who Bi Han was until that new gameplay of MK 1 popped up on KZbin. I keep hearing about a Bi Han but never knew who he was until like i said the new MK 1 gameplay reveal.

if you want some history of Bi-Han such as what Raiden says at 2:37 i would suggest watching a playthrough on KZbin of a PS1 game called Mortal Kombat Mythologies: Sub-Zero. a game where you play as Sub-Zero (Bi-Han) and it takes place before the events of the original Mortal Kombat. Mortal Kombat 9 was great in introducing us to the Lin Kuei ninjas, i believe we see Cyrax in human form for the first time and play as him, it did great in establishing the friendship between Smoke and Tundra (Kuai Liang aka current Sub-Zero aka the Sub-Zero with a scar across his eye aka original Sub-Zero's younger brother) and how out of respect for his late older brother, continues on the codename Sub-Zero in his late older brother's place.
