Thanks so much Rahat! The song lyrics told a brilliant story and brought out a lot of emotion. I tried to use the scenes to imply deep love for Richard, as in the song. It was a horrific death of someone we loved in the show, yet committed in such a beautiful paradise.

Thanks Irene! It's tragic that Richard and Camille didn't get to have their romance. The scenes in the video were very hard to watch, but fanfiction keeps him alive. In a different universe, Richard and Camille are together, in love. I hope that Richard and Camille return to DIP again, even for a short time. They are so good together.

Thanks for watching! It's a very sad video, but wanted to make it emotional by portraying the grief, shock and loss. The song lyrics were perfect and I cried a lot making this video as it reminded me of some personal grief when I kept replaying the song. Hopefully won't be making another sad video of Richard - have some happy/ funny moments planned in the coming weeks/months. :)

I'm sorry I don't know when the new series is on TV, but they're still filming series 11 in Guadeloupe at the moment. Will be on TV sometime early next year? There's a Christmas special epsiode too that's been filmed for the first time so we have that to look forward to in the meantime. :)

Richard and Camille were not in a relationship. They actually had a love-hate relationship, but deep in their hearts they loved each other. It was sad that Richard killed and Camille was terribly sad as if she would say: I have lost my beloved. But aspecially for Camille: THOUGH LOVERS BE LOST, LOVE SHALL NOT. AND DEATH SHALL HAVE NO DOMINION😞🥀.

Yeah, he disliked so much of the beach and Caribbean island life and reminded everyone of this so often. He grumbled about the differences, but in the end came to accept many things (whilst still moaning about them too).

Don't think we'll ever know why Richard was killed as opposed to just leaving the show like the other characters have been able to do. Ben needed to leave the show, but the decision to kill his character was really cruel. :(

@@kelsiaramaple to be honest, because he *had* to leave and at very short notice and could only be out there to film 1 episode for season 3- what else would they have done? they finished S2 on a very pivotal moment in their relationship and they clearly had absolutely beautiful plans for them in S3 which were all crushed by him having to leave. I personally believe that him leaving saint marine & camille behind in the first episode of S3 would have been more cruel than killing him.

I think he had to be killed off, especially after the s2 finale. If he'd decided to leave, either during the finale or after it, it would have ruined his character a little for me. This way, he remains an awesome character while letting his actor leave.

She was mesmerised by him in many scenes across the two series they were in together. Her body language alone revealed her attraction to him, but the Erzuli night was a massive giveaway if you didn't see the signs in Series 1. She thought he was her blind date and looked happy, then disappointed as her mum pointed out that she was keeping her 'date' waiting (someone else entirely).
