This was my favorite season. It has the darkness of S1 or even more darkness. It has the plot twists of S2 or even more plot twists. And not most inportantly it has none of the filler episodes which more than half of S3 consists of. The cinematography and soundtrack was outstanding as well.

One thing that people don’t realize is that. The people in the show who try to kill Joe are literally doing exactly what he is doing. That’s what’s great about the show, they make you not know who to root for at times. Joe kills people that harm others in their lives to help them but such is the same exact thing that Nadia was trying to do to him in order to help Marianne.

What he did to Nadia was definitely the kiss of death for any sympathy that I had for Joe. I didn't WANT him to get a happy end, but if it weren't for that then I could at least accept this as a series end (I didn't realize that there would be a finale under after I saw it). Hopefully she gets justice next season. He killed her boyfriend and ruined her life by framing her, and was so cold while doing it. They didn't even add one good aspect like they usually do or try to frame it as something he did out of desperation or fear.

I still like Joe. Way I see it, Joe has a LOT of issues, but he hasn't outright killed someone kind/good out of pure, "I felt like it." It's the reason Phoebe, and a bunch of others, didn't die. The ones that he consciously killed were and have always been either: A. Scums of the earth that cheat the system. B. People who got in his way (particularly this ending). C. Real detriments to society. The rest were good people that were accidental (due to his psychological trauma), not that that's an excuse on his moral compass, he's not a hero but he's definitely not a full fledged villain. Joe's acceptance in the end isn't so much of going big bad nonsensical villain, but more so just accepting that he CLEARLY has murderous issues, and CHOOSING to kill (hinted at) bad people or anyone who gets in his way.

I like the first part of the season but I think it became better for me with the second half of the season I just wish they focused in previous Seasons a bit more on Joe's potential for a dissociative personality the closest we got was the therapist in the first season saying that Joe was like two different people I think he was two different mindsets and that fragmented after the events of season 3 which was somewhat explained to be the reason I just wish they focused on it a little bit more
