The DeCaLiBron Loop | Four 14ers in one 7 mile hike

Hiking the The DeCaLiBron Loop which summits four 14ers, Democrat, Cameron, Lincoln, and Bross in a 7 mile hike. Some of the land on this hike is privately owned and you need to sign a liability waiver before starting this hike.
Round Trip Distance: 7 miles round trip from the Kite Lake Trailhead
Elevation Gain: 3,298 feet
Difficulty: Moderate
Directions to Trailhead:
From the town of Alma, take Buckskin Road 5 miles to the Kite Lake Trailhead. There is also a small campground located up there. This is a gravel/dirt road and it becomes more rough towards the end. I did see a VW Jetta up there so a 4WD is not required but proceed with caution if you have low ground clearance.

When did you hike this? That’s a surprising amount of snow in late June!

That was on June 15th, I was surprised how much there was. Hiked Quandary the day before and it had a bunch of snow too.

It took me around 5 hours, I didn’t start until 10:00, probably better to start earlier to avoid the afternoon storms. Next time I’ll probably do the loop in the opposite direction starting with Bross. The descent was very loose, happy I brought poles on this one.

Awesome, sounds fun! You might want to try a drive up Rollins Pass from the west if you have a vehicle with some ground clearance.
