Good video! Glad the module truck showed up and good footage. Hey, I assume you or your dad experienced the days of pallet modules? If so, maybe a video explaining pallet modules and ginning pallet modules? Just a thought...

The module truck disturbs the ground a little more than I assumed it would......

Hey Matt love the slow mow of the seed boot area. Remember in previous video how the drill was set as far as depth, I know you don’t have the residue in cotton stubble but seem kind of shallow to even keep in the ground at that speed also. 😂😂 Corn residue here thick and heavy you know. Plant at least 2 inches deep according my second knuckle on the pointer finger🤦♂️🤦♂️ to make sure it says in ground. We also keep it down for the occasional hard freezes. THANKS MATT,just rambling on!

The same trucks can pick up both with no modifications
@jeffwilliams3642Ай бұрын
Do they load the rectangle bales like you used to make on the same truck the same way??
@griggsfarmsllcАй бұрын
Yes
@shealy265Ай бұрын
Can they pick up the rectangular old style modules with the same truck or do the have to have two different types of trucks for bale versus rectangular tamped old style modules?
@griggsfarmsllcАй бұрын
Yes those trucks can pick up both styles. They were actually made for the rectangular modules

Good video!!! Case came out with pickers it seems like first and Deere has really taken that market in Texas at least. Sure helps on the labor side. Not sure it pencils out on the money side if you already had the equipment though but I did see the video where you said it paid for itself. Having done both which one truly is the most economical per acre?
@griggsfarmsllcАй бұрын
Basket style cheaper to run, baler style much more efficient
