I am an ex swimming teacher sports trainer..your ability to explain things clearly and in a way that is easy to follow is outstanding. Lots that know things are no good at teaching or explanations. Very impressive..

You talk about it with smile on your face and joy in your eyes - after years, your passion for arm wrestling seems to be only getting bigger. And thanks for another knowledge - so so helpful.

So if you can't pin them, wiggle your fingers around, it will distract them and will make them laugh so they will give up. Gotcha.

RYAN IN DEFENSIVE TOPROLL THE CONSTANT UPPRESSURE IS VERY IMPORTANT RIGHT???

im not ryan, but yes. rising will help you get on top of the opponents hand. rising will not help if your opponent is overall stronger than you btw

As a low hand top roller, I often find myself struggling against opponents with a strong riser/posting style (particularly outside of straps). Any advice?
@norwicharmwrestling34712 ай бұрын
Set up high
@ethandurnzie38762 ай бұрын
Or slip and get ur straps. I lowhand as well it’s just added power
@Simonwigstrom2 ай бұрын
Build up a strong riser and always fight for as much height as you can in the setup. When you have a dominant high grip, pull back and let the back of your hand slide up into your opponent’s fingers. There you will have loaded up your low toproll without actually letting the opponent gaining height control
@Juneof19442 ай бұрын
@@Simonwigstrom I was thinking the same thing, but, that's the opposite of Ryan's advise here. He says to start low hand in the grip. I wonder if that's something you should only do in strap.

@@Juneof1944 I’m starting to think so. Unless they’re hooking, but you can never know for sure.

I'm curious if this works with supination initiated forward drive hook. it feels like my pronator is getting turned in without it ever activating

You need to forget anything relating to being defensive in armwrestling, and learn to be be 100% offensive...
