1:37:10 The Mirage discussion around Imperial basically comes down to BT16 Paildramon. They can easily prevent the partition with source strip (giving up level 5 effects for Zudo), but they can’t stop the DNA effect preventing restand. It just kills any momentum, prevents the OTK, and they can easily remove a Mirage stack the turn after. As for Nume & Tyrant, the BT12 Paildramon is the best answer. Huge source strip for Nume then stun for Tyrant that works through immunity. Then BT12 Fighter Mode comes in clutch after Big issue with the deck will always be consistency. If you see your pieces, the deck can match anything, but it’s a deck where you have to be active whether you’re seeing your pieces or not. That’s not always possible and it can whiff just as strongly as vaccine armors and the high roll isn’t as high

@1:07:31 You have to attempt to delete something you have, but if you choose to delete itself, you can armor purge it and prevent it while still being able to delete your opponents digimon.

Belphemon is such a sweet sleeper pick. For what it’s worth, I think Sleep Mode can still block Magna X’s attack even if he has protection, since Sleep Mode affects the player, not the Digimon (don’t quote me though)

Okay, my turn to cope y'all. Grace stan here. This deck is one of the few that can destroy a Magna X fully. The DNA into Grace happens at the start of their turn when Magna aint safe and gets his sources stripped and deleted. I'd like to believe that it could cook Tyrant too but, Tyrant's passive immunity and access to tamer-hate really hurts the deck. As for the other match ups, Grace probably gettin smacked up. So, if I'm coping, I say Rogue Tier but if I'm bein real, then I'd have agree with y'all. Love the energy. Love the Videos. 🤙

Imperial has a funny interaction they can do against tyrant deck, if opp tyrant deck digivolve into tyrant and plays out a shiva and both become suspended, what imperial player can do is evo into promo dragon mode ace it lets you be able to suspend 1 digimon then unsuspend 1 digimon so you could unsuspend their shiva to be able to use option cards like megadeath at tyrant. I doubt they would run the DM ACE but would be cool as a tech in the deck

To go more indepth. I think for red-hybrid we will see 1 of 2 builds for bt16. 1st is a build with digimon Emperor. As this completely stops patamon start of main effect. slowing vaccine armor down a bit. Though likely we will see more and more decks tech in digimon emperor to not only counter patamon but ukkomon plays. 2nd build is 1-2 garudamon ace and 2 valkyrimon ace. garudamon to help replace tamers while deleting a blocker ( potential maganmon x if not under protection). While Valkyrimon will help control board and can pop a 13k body when security is removed.

🙏 for real tho, Gracenova is in Contenders tier. The deck can remove MagnaX consistently and stun it. Goes all the way up a stack while holding turn. Let's you draw infinite cards and play tech topend. Frankly the only thing keeping it out of Meta Defining is that the deck isn't as fast as the Aggro Meta decks and it doesn't have protection.

two more things: The Alphamon vs mirage match up is heavily in Alphamon's favor. Bt-13 Alphamon stops the otk out right and the protect means they have to have the option to out it with a burst mode. Not impossible but much harder. Also you don't pass turn yuji or having multiple cool boys cuz of how effect trigger work and when. The other thing is the megagargo stopping jesmon from evoing isn't accurate due to when you are allowed to blast evo. You only blast evo after all effects from both players have resolved. So the sistermon will be able to evo the jesmon before megagargo can stop it.

Love that opening about red-hybrids, and while it is not as great into magna x ( veemon armor is a bit easier then vaccine) it can still just take games out of knowhere and that matters.

I love that Varni is so traumatized by heavens that he doesn't realized in RK you can just not play another mega. Like you play purge, sister, or omekamon.

Wow thought-out tier list, and I especially like the Digimon World 3 music in the background. Regarding Heaven's Judgment, the card itself isn't the problem. Digimon with 3 colors are the problem and shouldn't exist other than Kimeramon combos. Unlike other removal options, you need to have the Digimon out to make it work, same caveat as Hades Force.
