As mentioned in the annotations, I was using an infinite magic cheat, which I only used because I didn't have double magic. If you have double magic, you have more than enough to get through without refills.

The deku butler is like dampe in that if are a bit ahead of him, he starts to speed up, which is why Jiano's video has the butler finish faster. Now to find a way to take advantage of this in a single segment run..

You don't need to use a cheat for infinite magic, you can actually purchase a drink that will give you that effect in normal gameplay. Chateau Romani I think is the name.
