Praise report!! A long long time I've suffered addiction to marijuana, anxiety, and depression and i had been crying out to God, tried my hardest to walk in righteousness, of course falling soooooo short .. Well yesterday at church- i went up for prayer in my small Missouri church and the body of believers gathered around me and i was DELIVERED of 3 evil spirits! They are GONE. THANK YOU, LORD JESUS!!!!!! Hallelujia, He did it for me! He'll do it for anyone who cries out His glorious Name. I love you my Brothers and Sisters❤✝️🙏 He is faithful!!!

Although it is a real story of haunted houses and people being possessed, I advise you, please people do not watch this movie, do not open the door to the enemy! Whoever did see it pray LOUDLY this simple deliverance prayer. My sister was visiting her son at his house. BTW he’s married to a man first of all and she has been praying for their salvation. She said she heard the movie and asked them what they were watching. It was “Deliverance.” She immediately left the room. That night she was physically attacked by an evil spirit. Woke her up out of her sleep! Had its hands over her eyes and mouth. She had to plead the blood of Jesus and speaking scriptures before it got off of her. The next day she had to anoint some oil and anoint her door and doorknob and throughout the house. No joke. We are saved filled with the Holy Spirit so she knew what to do.

By the end of the movie the main character got 2:28 delivered from her “demons” and so did her children with the help of a church friend. There wasn’t any real scary parts maybe one. I watched the movie, equipped with the Armor of God, and I choose to give God the glory because, in the end, He is always victorious. As Philippians 2:12 says, 'Continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling,' and Ephesians 6:12 reminds us, 'For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against rulers, authorities, and powers of this dark world, and against spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. This movie serves as a reminder that God has given us authority, and we should always give Him more glory than the enemy. Maybe, through this movie, some will become curious about Jesus again and even be saved. I give the glory to God now and always. While I don’t recommend watching horror movies or anything that glorifies darkness, this one caught my attention because it has sparked conversations among Christians. I pray it leads more people to the truth and light of Christ. No matter their intent God gets the Glory and Jesus wins!

That’s what happened with my daughter and son in law. She watched it with him, praying before during and after, rebuking spirits the whole time. And she explained to him what was happening the whole time. In the end, it made him a believer that we do not wrestle against flesh and blood and it made him want a relationship with Jesus.

What's interesting, earlier last month I had COVID. While I was sick I watched this show called "Evil". I thought it'd be fine, it's about a priest fighting demons and his two colleagues are skeptical so it should have some interesting dreams, right? Here's the thing. As I watched it, I became aware NOTHING was resolved with the demonic really ever. Plot lines were randomly dropped and this suddenly felt mocking telling people to not take demons seriously. During this time, I backslid horribly. I fell hard back into sexual sin and even considered not going to church. It wasn't until I saw people talking about Deliverance did I connect that I let something into my life that I did NOT want to have. Avoid this show like the plague!

The Hubs had this on while I was asleep. During a scene where there was clapping I abruptly woke up and shouted uh uhn what is going on?! It was a scene where they were either summoning a demon or doing an exercism. People I sleep hard but my spirit said get up and rebuke that now! Let’s not play around with this stuff. Watching evil and wickedness on tv doesn’t make you safe because you’re in your own home. In fact, you are coming into agreement and letting them into your space by participating. They are using real spells and showing real rituals on tv. Don’t be a willing participant. Resist the Devil and he will flee!

I watched this because it is based on a true story, and I wanted to see what this family lived through. I had experiences as a child and I wanted to see if it was anything like my experience. However, when I was a young child (6 or 7), there was Exorcisms performed at my Grandmother's church and at her home. I witnessed first hand a little girl possessed by a demon. I won't watch the movie, but only because I have stopped watching any movie that isn't faith-based. But that comment that said Christians should watch it got to me! We have to get over any fear we have regarding demons. We're the ones who need to armor up! Come on brothers and sisters in Christ. I know you're coming in contact with demons. One thing i found weird about the movie as opposed to the true story. They only had women Pastors in the movie. They also had another woman who called herself an "Apostle"who performed the so-called deliverance There are no more Apostles, and the bible does not allow for women pastors. So it showed me there was definitely an agenda in this film. The real Latoya Ammons was given an exorcism by a white man who is a Priest. The director made those changes for a reason. They showed Christianity, but the main christian throughout was a white lady who claimed she was saved but remained incredibly promiscuous throughout the film. Not that we are all perfect as Christians because we aren't, but you can see the agenda yet again. As soon as i saw Lee was the director, i knew it was going to be full of nonsense.

I saw the movie and recognized the storyline from reading about the Ammons case and watching the documentary on that house in Indiana. As a person who was part of a deliverance team, I understand the need to understand deliverance, self-deliverance, helping those who want it, and exorcism. The Ammons were exorcised by a Catholic priest. I thought the movie should have stayed closer to the actual story instead of the liberties they took. But I agree with Jesus and praying in tongues to deliver. I don't care about the actors behind the scenes, but when you show Jesus is Lord and conquers all, these actors and the film's crew may get a good seed. It is like the reversal of Stephan King, who intentionally throws out evil nuggets in his books. This one threw out a good seed. Whether the film's crew/actors eventually get saved or not, the movie may bring awareness and more people seeking deliverance or recognizing a need for help in that area. But I also agree with guarding our hearts and being careful what we allow into our minds.

I was praising Jesus from the mid part of the movie to the end credits. it did not mock Jesus. It glorified Him. I used to love horror movies as a child and as a teenager. It had affected me subconsciously and spiritually. But this movie... I just got some hints from some content creators so I watched it. It will never surpass the Bible but this is the only horror movie that does not mock Jesus... it may seems that it did but when you watch it the entirely, it sends some message. I think this move needs to be in circulation so for some kids who are so into these kinds of movies, will somehow get a little bit of seed of the truth. Well for horror critics, they rated it in the lowest, it the worst horror film right now. But my spirit was filled during the end credits. When the movie said we need deliverence from our sins, it did show. the family was trying to fix their lives at the beginning, the attacked happened, destroyed the family, then surrender happened. attacks kept happening, lies and stuff, then faith kicks in, knowledge of the truth and then declaration of the truth. it was beautiful. then the mother, walked with faith then the family followed. it was amazing. it was like telling every Christian's story. it just added visible spiritual warfare. it was telling me my own story.

I can confirm. My husband and I watched this film in our home. It was a different type of scary. It was a scare that to me felt like terror. I have seen some scary movies here and there and usually the spooked feeling goes away by the next morning. Not with this film. I started feeling the same terror as I did when watching the movie and feeling like I had eyes on me in my own home. The feeling lasted about three days before I ended up praying out to God to cast out all unholy in my home. I walked out to the back yard for a moment. When I came back in my home felt safe again and I have not felt that feeling since then. I now understand why my aunt says do NOT watch those movies and if you do make sure it is not at home. She calls it opening portals. I believe it. I haven’t watched a horror film since then and don’t plan to in this season.

Yea something not adding up… they claim the people living there before didn’t have any issues. The people living there after them didn’t have any issues either. From my experience my mother in law practices witchcraft (Santeria) and her house had infestations and bizarre occurrences. Stink bugs and roaches. Dark shadows and apparitions. That spiritual uncleaness will manifest in physical ways as well. The flies the demonic things going on I wonder if the woman was dabbling in something or maybe the people before her.

I think you made a very great point when you said We must be careful what we consume and who it comes from I think you can watch anything as long as you stay present and keep your eyes open Even if it is diabolical, it exposes something If you are at a point where you can't handle it them switch it off

I truly wish as Christians we spent more time praying for gays than condemning them. We say prayer changes things but we spend more time condemning them than praying for them🤔God wants all souls. Any lost soul grieves God so please show love to your brother by judging less and praying more. Praying for them pleases God more than talking about how horrible they are. Judge less pray more 🙏🏽❤️🙏🏽❤️🙏🏽❤

Thank you! It’s truly a struggle for me and even Nick is just so condescending and fixated on it. It’s like being gay is their favorite sin to condemn but there’s no true love or compassion or prayers… it’s just you’re demonic and die to your flesh. I honestly feel like it’s actually the hardest sin to overcome but I will thru Jesus Christ! I just wish people understood they turn others away from the faith and will have to deal with God about that!

I would have to say he isn’t condemning anyone. He is saying to look at the source. Look at how this person is living his life that is showing us quote on quote deliverance. How can you help someone or show someone “deliverance” if you yourself are not apart of a deliverance lifestyle. That’s just my take

⁠@@TheNial120hopefully you can overcome your struggle with same sex attraction. I agree homosexuality is always in the forefront when comparing to other sins. If it is something you desire to be free of then continue to seek Jesus and he is faithful to deliver you.

I agree with you! Here is some of my testimony if you want to read it. That sin is very hard to overcome. I dated women for so long and people thoughts about me were “I would never have kids, I would never date men” because of how heavy that spirit was on me. I prayed for years for deliverance. It wasn’t until I cried and was seriously done because…. The last few girls I was dating turned me off. In Aug 2016 I woke up and prayed to take it away from me. I cried out like never before. But again I was done in my heart and mind. I also asked to give me something that will help me not go back. I stayed prayed up, then I met this man and got pregnant and had my son. Now…. I went from one sin to another but when I got pregnant NO ONE BELIEVED IT. On top of that the dad left. But my son was my “keep me away from it” because I always said if I had kids I wouldn’t want my kids around that. And having a son was my “why I can’t go back” a few months ago (after all of these years) to recently, 2 of my exes tried to come back and one understood the other didn’t and was/is trying to get me to date her and go back to her. It’s soo much more to the temptation but I’m not going back. I see how the enemy works and he is very persistent. The way is to just stop, get out the environment, never give in, never go back, and pray + read the Bible.

I think that is very important to remember Paul. He spoke about his thorn and how he doesn't ask for it to be removed because it keeps him humble and near the cross. God doesn't always remove the struggles we have, but uses then to keep us near him.

This is for my brothers and sisters, I have had about 1-2 years of training in deliverance and we are taught from the get-go, that certain spirits will leech onto us through the work that we do. We have prayers that we say after every healing prayer appointment. I would say don't watch it and if you have, plead the blood of Jesus over your house and family.

I think watching demons and actually experiencing real demons are going to be two different experiences so I think that, that mentality you need to watch demons in order to react with demons isn't going to change anything just because you weren't scared of demons in a movie don't mean you're not going to be scared when they're in your face

There’s no time for God’s servants to be fearful of speaking HIS truth. Society has taken their stand, As God’s children we must take ours. If they aren't glorifying GOD ALMIGHTY in that movie, then I am not watching it. I saw that trailer, and I felt ill. No desire to watch it, I told my parents, specifically my Mom, she said NO too. We got enough problems.
