@u686st7 St. Patrick's Day is a big deal in Chicago. They dye the Chicago River green. In high school, I got in a bit of trouble. A girl with an Irish name asked me, on St. Patrick's Day if I wish I were Irish. I said no, because I was English and Protestant. Not one of the smartest things I've ever done.

I'm a Methodist (former UM) and my green shirt is too small so I don't wear green on St. P's Day. My devout Roman Catholic neighbor does not care what the Pope says. Oh, I don't drink either. LOL

I'm catholic and no Irish in my family for at least 5 generations. Was in church in Pittsburgh when they read the letter from the bishop they could have meat on Friday in honor of St Patrick A couple people acted like they hit the lent lottery. I felt like it fell somewhere between sad and pathetic.

A good friend of mine is a Presbyterian/Baptist. The similarity to the Presbyterian is remarkable. Cause as Paul said It's All good for the teaching... Iron sharpens iron.... We can't be a loner Christian. The key to all this is . Jesus said I am the way the truth and the life no one comes to the Father but thru him. He is also the word was made flesh and dwelt amongst us.
