Sentiments like tribalism, sexism, Anti-Christian or anti-Muslim or anti-Hindu or anti-Sikh sentiments in some countries have led to some of the worst leaders in those countries. People chose their tribesmen instead of the best leaders for the job. The law of the land in the UK must be followed or you face the consequences if caught breaching rules. Even leaders have to face the law if they are found wanting, e.g Boris Johnson kicked out by his party for breaking rules, Liz Truss kicked out for breaking fiscal rules which caused a financial crash losing the UK £40billion in one day. It's unlike some countries where people will be caught breaking laws and get away with it by simply saying "sorry" or bullishly driving around in entourages knowing that the same people that complain will celebrate them and hail them when they pull up in supercars and show-off their fancy houses. The point is that it's much easier to get away with fraud, misdeeds, corruption, etc in most countries in Africa and Asia than here in the UK. Just think of the number of people that get away with exam malpractice in schools in those countries compared to the UK. It's a very clear point.

If I have to be sincere, initially the working status for health and care worker stated that one could do voluntary work and could recieve reasonable pay which could be for transport etc. It wasn't explicitly stated. It just got updated to state that u can only volunteer for a charity

I am a Care worker and i ave a sponsor Since I do agency work sometimes, the shifts are usually a minimum of 8 hours because they don’t offer shorter shifts like 2 or 4 hours. In the past, I used to pick up 2-3 shifts a week, but not very often. These days, I haven’t done agency work in a long time. Altogether, I think I’ve only done about 10-12 shifts in total. Do you think this will affect my ILR application? Since shorter shifts aren’t an option, 8 hours is the minimum we can do as carers. Right now, I’m being careful and only picking up one or two shifts occasionally, maybe on alternate weeks. Would love to hear your thoughts! ---

Yes please. Try not to do more than 20hrs on your second job. People are being denied ilr and renewal for this but you can do extra hours in your sponsorship company

You can work bank shift as much as your strength can carry with your sponsor but with agency, it should not be more than 20hours because that is classified as second job

@ two 8 hour shifts for a different sponsor a week is only 16hrs a week so that's fine
