When did we all accept the idea of any family being forcibly separated? Honestly I am finding it hard to believe that I found myself preaching this whole family separation an okay thing so long as it isn't my family. No illegals in my family but still the thought just hit me. I understand the whole crossing the border illegally but at least deport them back together as a family. At one time I agreed too that this is punishment for crossing into America illegally but recently I just wondered how cruel it is. The child is also paying for their parents crimes. A innocent child who was told a better future than the one they left behind. Only to come and get thrown into facilities, separated, alone, and facing a uncertain future. How much will this affect the childs mental and emotional state? Is this how we treat children? God this makes me feel sick to my stomach. I would understand if they held the father to do time for the crime and send back the family as a whole. I am disgusted in myself for even believing in the processing measures their taking to deport emigrates and detain and separate families. I know these people fact difficulty when deported to their home country but they caused the problem themselves. For some reason they thought by violating our immigration laws they could just live here with no worries. No and no. That is the reason why immigrants need to apply and it needs to be approved by the US government. And in order to apply for the citizenship, you must obtain and maintain a green card for 3-5years, showing that you are good enough to become a citizen. I went through the process, paying good money for it to become a citizen. It was hectic but I did it so Nor my family or I need to hide from ICE.

I was deported to Mexico 9 years ago and I can honestly say that it was the greatest thing that has ever happened to me , I soo grateful to the u.s. for all of those years that I live there for all the opportunities that I had , for all the people that i met while i was there , I always gave my self a god life I always work hard for what I wanted I'm not the kind of person that takes something that don't belong to him, that I will never be, my worst nightmare when I lived in the u.s. was to get deported now day's my worst nightmare is that I'm going to weak up and I'm still living there, I have a great life here in Mexico I m a successful businessman i have all the comfort that a man can have , Good friends lots of friends I spend soo many years fighting for the American dream, but I realize now that I like the Mexican dream much better
