They don't want to put the children in detention centers that's why they are separating the children and taking them to housing were children go when both parents get arrested for a crime. They are damned either way , if they don't separate the families they are bad for putting children in detention centers, if they separate the children so they don't have to be in a detention center they are bad. Trump administration did not start this whole thing , enforcing the law yeah ,but they never started it. Its proven Obama's administration deported more illegal immigrants then any other President in American history and most the pictures of the detention centers posted everywhere are from 2014 under the Obama administration. The only difference between Obama's administration and Trumps is that Trump was vocal about it when Obama did it silently.

Accidentally, my husband works for dairy industry. Nobody wants to work here in BC, Canada, except Philipinos, and East Indians. It is a mystery to me, how can they get work permits and permanent residency, with mostly no English and significant lack of skills. And officially, one can get work permit only in so called skilled position, so people cheat together with their employers. And immigration knows it, governement knows it. But they will not change the rules... That is how great Canada is. For person from Europe it is incredibly hard, we get permits only for 1 year... Ironically, now we sell Canadians milking robots designed and made in Europe, so even the last workers will get out of their jobs... Country abandoned God, and He gave it up to its wicked desires....

I am not for open borders but there needs to be serious immigration reform that keeps bad people out and let people that are actual assets in. Farm workers are among the most valuable immigrants that come here from Mexico and South America. Farmers in Alabama are going out of business due to strong immigration laws and the lack of American's willing to do these jobs or even capable of doing them. It is the usual lack of action in congress to correct these problems and further proof that the Government should be widely privatized to be more productive and accountable. In politics we have to wait and hope to vote incompetent people out, in non Government run business you perform or you get replaced immediately. What a concept !

It is the privatization of major government sectors that has let the intention to make money and fill in in quotas the main mission in institutions that were supposed to benefit the public. This is neither a pro or con, just sharing an experience: I come from a large American city. Many years ago I l moved to a rural area, there are many farms...but nowhere near a boarder. I noticed that there was a large illegal population. I wondered where do they come from? How do they get here? One day when sharing some comments of co-workers with a friend. The friend said to me. If they weren't here, who would pick our vegetables? We have degrees, are you going to take that type of job? Our kids get allowances. They aren't going to do it. Even if they take a summer job they will look for something like a sales associate in a store or fast food at the very least. So again, I ask you, how would the farmers survive? How would we get affordable vegetables to eat? I just looked at my friend, thinking...he's biased cause he's a vegetarian. But later when I gave it more thought, I had no answer. I still have no answer. It's not just dairy, it's farming in general.

England did not pioneer world wide drug trafficking. Latin America did and in return grew so strong the government is conflicting with them and some meso systems controlled by drug cartels. Then you have American interventions which didn’t happen in Europe because US wanted to focus on neighboring countries such a starting revolutions with in Latin countries and training their military to so they may place other political figures in office that will do what The US wants and so on. Look at Nicaragua, Panama, Mexico “disposable workers” and so on to understand the long term effects of a conquested and Intervened countries and people that also has a serious issue with Gangs and Drugs.....yeah try being a hard worker there... they get overlooked by media but never take their situation for granted thus Latinos have a large handwork ethic distilled within them due to political, societal, economic, historical, and Cultural factors. This is ridiculous. The American farming industry is so profit-driven that quality in the workplace is so bad, few people will do the farm work. I live in Canada, where there are regulations preventing these FACTORY FARMS from being created. Is profit so important to any agricultural business that we need to reduce quality of food AND the workplace, not to mention adding SAFETY concerns? The lack of any protection from workplace hazards is an issue that has been addressed outside of America. Why is the USA running factory farms like third world countries with no regulations to protect the quality of their products AND the safety of workers? I don't blame anyone who refuses this work because of the lack of safety (kicking of the cows, slips trips falls, contamination, falling objects). I worry about those who take on these jobs, which have taken form of a third-world style oversight in a first world country. I honestly don't know how hard it is to become an actual citizen of the United States but why don't the owners of the company or whatever help them become legal?
@allenwiggins96765 жыл бұрын
What is amazing to me is whenever you watch one of these videos it is all about farm work. Like you have twenty or thirty million people doing farm work.Go into some of the warehouses or manufactory Companies and see who has those jobs.Americans don't have those jobs because they do not advertise when they need help.they will tell an illegal to bring a friend or family member. Who do you think did these jobs before.

All the is "needed" is a Foreign Guest Worker Program like the old "Bracero program" of WW2 to 1964, but the farmers back then were abusing the workers, so it was abolished. The Greedy USA businesses really love Undocumented because they keep the wages low, cannot be on Strike, and never complain. You have to Legally Immigrate with a Visa first, so you can Reside & Work. 5 years later, an Immigrant can Naturalize ( becoming US citizen ) if passes more tests & background. **** To just work, in USA, does not require Greencard or US citizenship. Just a Work Permit, Fingerprints, Health check. Having a work sponsor would be smart.
@yacabe5 жыл бұрын
After 9/11, the path to citizenship became harder. However, company owners CAN help their immigrant workers obtain a green card IF the immigrant had started a green card application back before April 30, 2001 and have proof that they were present in the US before that. This part of the law is "Section 245(i)"...look it up for more details. It will take a few years before they receive their green card. So, many immigrants do not qualify under that. There is currently no other law for immigrants who entered illegally that allows a path to citizenship. Children of these immigrants have DACA as an option when they're older, which is a work permit, but is NOT a path to citizenship. But with Trump trying to undo everything the Obama administration did, I don't know where DACA will end up.
@AmigoKandu5 жыл бұрын
@@yacabe Bill Clinton passed IRAIIRA in 1996 so Illegal Entry after that date cannot Adjudicate to Immigrant status, that is why the DACA people are stuck, for now.

16 years and not able to speak the damn language.I've nothing against those people but come on.
@wishfulanthony9 жыл бұрын
Somnivers Certain factors come up as to why they have difficulty learning English: - Some communities do not have adequate facilities for immigrants and recent arrivals to teach them the English language and provide services for them (e.g. job hunting, obtaining driver's licenses, child care support, etc.) - Their lack of or limited amount of documentation could cause them to pay significantly more to be educated at a community college, and with the pressure of feeding their families, they have little to no recourse but to work long hours - Their long work hours mean they do not have adequate time to be with their families or spend time reading books; instead, many keep the unending eat-work-sleep pattern every single day without a day or two to spend quality time with their children and partners And since our Congress has been way too slow, if not ignorant, on the issue of immigration reform, then people need to vote those incompetent politicians out of office in the next election. Those Congress members who are against immigration reform are the same people who continue to subsidize the oil and banking industries for their own wealth accumulation rather than helping out immigrants wanting to live better lives in the country.
@Somnivers9 жыл бұрын
Anthony Nachor Agreed,there are multiple factors ,it's a complex problem.But,16 years in US and not able to speak some basic English is just insane.I know immigrants are having a hard time and they work many hours ,I do appreciate those people who work hard jobs.But I just can't imagine living in a country so much time and not speaking some basic language,no language is that hard to learn in 16 years.To me that just shows lack of interest in the respective country's culture.
@Somnivers9 жыл бұрын
Anthony Nachor A plausible reason for me is that most Americans don't want to do those jobs so Mexicans only interact with each other at work .Their bosses speak Spanish to them so that's that.At home they also speak Spanish ,that's normal.I've seen this before in Spain , where people who worked there for 7-8 years were not able to say anything in Spanish.
