Personally I watched his hunger games series and loved it untill he started to team up with a buddy in his runs, that baffled me to no end, not only series became boring because of course they would win, he broke the games rules and made the game shit for everyone else, it really pissed me off and I stopped watching after that, and forgot about him completely. This wasn't a one off thing either, he was doing it regularly.... Baffles me to this day, where is the fun in teaming up in a mode in which you are not supposed to teamup and dominating every single game?
@irondragondxd38362 жыл бұрын
@@MegaSupernowa Most of his victories came anyway from him getting free handouts and people not attacking him. What sucked, in the end, is that his HG series ran on way longer than it should have. I said it many years ago and got a ton of flak from some of his fans for it. But HG stopped being good around the 150-200 mark, after that it became way too repetitive. Also him adopting a more family-friendly persona took away from that too. He and Jerome are a million times funnier when they are not trying to restrain themselves.

The big issue with asking the audience "what can I do to get you back?" is this: the people you are asking never left. The ones you need to ask that question are the ones who are gone and won't see the video of you asking, and those seeing it who stayed will view it as a lack of confidence and loss of momentum (this part stated by SunnyV2). Never ask that question. It cannot be answered and leads to further loss.

The problem that Mitch had was a defeatist attitude and a lack of versatility to tackling problems. He was a great sailor over a calm sea but struggled to keep afloat when things got tough. The reason why Minecraft KZbinrs like Vikkstar123 are still relevant is that they diversified when Minecraft was dead and then consistently marched forward when times got tough in 2017. In an industry like KZbin, consistency and resilience is key and no matter how entertaining and fantastic someone is, if they don't have both they will crumble. I hope Mitch gets better and realises how to fix his problems.

I don't think the problem is him necessarily sticking to Minecraft. There are other Minecraft youtubers who have figured out the latest algorithm and are getting millions or even tens of millions of views per video. Personally, I watch so much KZbin that it's basically the equivalent of a full time job, and I've been doing that for like 12 years now. I've watched hundreds of KZbinrs totally blow up, and then fade into irrelevancy. I literally couldn't tell you what movies the most popular actors were in, because I have always watched KZbin rather than movies/TV. It's my goto form of passive entertainment. Some of the biggest issues that I've seen is: 1.) KZbinrs who don't adapt their content over time 2.) KZbinrs who upload low quality videos filmed from their phone where they're just talking 3.) KZbinrs who had a niche, that niche blew up, but then the niche dies down and they can't easily switch their content I think I'm pretty good at picking up on KZbin trends, as I have seen so many come and go. Bajan could have adapted his content, much like how he adapted from CoD Zombies/minigame showcases to Hunger Games and Series style content. In 2015/16, he could have started making commentary videos with Minecraft gameplay (sort of how Leafy and others were doing at the time, and maybe slowly diversified away from minecraft), In more recent years, he could have transitioned his commentary into more video-essay style videos which are popular now.

I miss everyone from their Minecraft group, The Pack, Prestonplayz, Vikkstar, Woofless, Petezahut, Jerome, Lachlan, and of course BajanCanadian. It seems that Pete is doing well streaming but his views have crashed to around. Preston, Lachlan, and Vikk are all doing insanely well. Preston getting around 2-3mil on every video he uploads and having 2 insanely big channels, one with 15mil one with 5mil. Lachlan is doing his fortnite thing and getting mad views, no surprise there. Vikk has got the Sidemen to carry him if he ever falls into irrelevancy, but he is getting mad views playing a bunch of shit. Woofless has died off in terms of views as well he started a second channel that he plays rocket league and gets okay views over there, but nothing compared to the old minecraft days. Then there is Jeromeasf who while has dropped A LOT in views, seems to be doing fine mostly because streaming is bringing in more money, but regardless he seems to be having fun, unlike Bajan, but he and Pete seem to be doing a lot better than Bajan or Woofless. Woofless seems to have fallen into the trap being burnout. I had just learned that Mitch had removed all but 4 of his videos on his channel. As a huge fan of the "ASF Crew" and Mitch from 2011 to 2016 it's actually very upsetting to see this. I would look forward to his daily videos after school, and one of my favorite series of his being the 2015 Christmas special with Jerome. These videos were a huge part of many, including my own, childhood. Seeing this sort of killed that part of my childhood, as I will never return to those times. I agree with the statement made in this video claiming Mitch's downfall is caused by his lack of confidence and changing from content his fans loved; to content that was unappealing to his audience due to the lack of consistency along with constant changes to the channel trying to bring in more numbers. It seemed everything he ended up doing was for the numbers, and that sort of killed my interest in the channel for me. Learning of his channel's demise really struck me. May his legacy rest in peace, along with mine and countless others' childhood. (Edit) I learned again that he didn't delete all his videos, he unlisted them. They are all still available on playlists on his channel.

When some KZbinrs get big they forget where they started we all started with 0 subs 0 likes 0 comments we still go on and post videos.But when you get big and fans start to leave, some Big KZbinrs just saying "f the others that's still here its only hafe " The day when you start doing KZbin for just cash and numbers is the day you will stop loving doing KZbin and feel like you have to do it as a job.That's why Mr.Beast has so much of a big fan base he give more than he takes 😧
@Prince_-vu4wu4 жыл бұрын
I disagree mainly as every youtube does it for the cash, the thing that scared Mitch tho was losing an audience he felt his channel was dying before it really was and it sent him into a bit of a depression, a lot of youtubers have this where if there views are down on a video or month it affects them big time as it’s what’s showing it’s getting to people and now with all the systems KZbin has it can honestly be 80% KZbin’s fault for it, it is kinda true they should try and look away from views and likes etc but if they do they avoid their audience and their feedback can also sometimes be shown in likes and views it’s really a double edged sword and you have to walk a tightrope while doing it mr beast is also popular because he comes up with his own ideas and he’s big enough to set trends along with yes he does do very nice things and he does seem to do them out of just being a good person which helps him grow as he’s not faking it, at least this is my stance on it

One thing that was forgotten was his Minecraft server, The Nexus. He played all of his Hunger Games on there and that’s what drove a lot of his channel. When the guy started asking for subscribers and likes non-stop, even saying "if you don't subscribe, you don't even need to watch my content" and complaining all the time against youtube algorithm, it was such a turn down. When it becomes too apparent that everything is only for the money, and not for fun, the audience loses the will to keep watching, because despite their complaints they still earn much more than their audience.
