I think a reason for his uprise following the thirteen-year-old girl incident was due to the fact that people didn't want to believe. *Sad True Story:* I loved Minecraft videos growing up and loved Minecraft content creators. All my friends would watch bigger creators like Stampy or DanTDM, but I watched LionMaker. He wasn’t as famous or successful, but for some reason I always found his videos entertaining and they made me laugh. In fact he was the first KZbinr I had ever subscribed to when I first made my KZbin Account. I was a massive fan of his growing up and used to think he was the coolest guy ever and wanted to be just liked him. Over the course of a year I saw him slowly change and he almost seemed more and more depressed in his later videos. I remember being worried about him. He then suddenly disappeared completely and Paige took over his channel without any explanation which confused me and others all the more. I tried to research what happened to him, but at the time there was nothing about it. I eventually stopped watching him and his channel, but a few years later I got curious and randomly decided to try again and look up what happened to him. I saw that there was now suddenly an endless amount of information discussing it which had somehow alluded me. I learned the real reason why he disappeared and that he went to prison and when I searched why my stomach turned and my heart sank. The more research I did, the more sick I got when learning about his secret relationship with Paige who I had always known as just his friend *”Paige the Panda.”* I was absolutely gutted learning the truth about his other victims and all the terrible perverted stuff he had done to minors and it absolutely ruined the rest of my day and I’m not lying when I say that I cried actual tears. Despite the fact that I no longer watched him and that he was just a Minecraft KZbinr from my childhood, it was just the fact of knowing that he was the first creator I ever became a fan of and who really got me into Minecraft and KZbin in the first place which traumatized me. I do still love Minecraft and KZbin, but I will never forgive LionMaker for what he did to his all victims and to the people who looked up to him and trusted him. Be careful out there guys, the internet truly can be a dangerous place where predators can hide.

Lionmaker was my favorite KZbinr as a kid. He was the real reason I got into KZbin in the first place. I made my KZbin account just to subscribe to him. He wasn’t the MOST popular Minecraft KZbinr, but he was fun and his videos always made my day. When he disappeared I was really curious as to what happened to him. I remember searching “What happened to Lionmaker” and finding basically no results at the time. Over a year later I had moved on, but one day I was curious again as to what happened to him so I looked it up and found out what had all happened. I cried like a baby that day and couldn’t shake the feeling that the first KZbinr I looked up to turned out to be a horrible person. Still hurts to this day, but hasn’t changed my passion for KZbin.

I first watched his videos back in 2015 and instantly became a public subscriber. I would treat his hide and seek videos like a football game and even create hide and seek maps in hopes that he would play them. But then he completely disappeared, leaving a very long apology video. It took a while for me to fully accept that he wasn’t like his counterpart on the screen. His “body in your face” gags now feel wrong and depressing. I tried watching him again after he returned, but hearing his voice felt different to me. I saw one of his very last livestreams before he permanently disappeared. He was playing Red Dead Redemption 2 and was saying the N word while drunk. It was that moment where I lost hope for him before he passed out on his bed and left the stream running. I stayed because I was having a fun chat with the live chat.

Finding out LionMaker was a creep was honestly a huge blow to me at the time. around 2016/2017 (i was 10/11 lol) i was part of a very small minecraft youtube group and somehow knew people that knew lion maker (i assume through building clans etc, really can’t remember) but remember i got asked to help out on a map some people were building and somehow ended up in a party with lion maker and remember it quite well , although he was only in the party for about 5 mins. the memory just came into my head so i searched his name to see if he was still making videos and came across this lol. i remember very well that i wasnt involved with people too much older than me so its quite concerning that he knew the people i knew at such a young age after seeing this.
