This song is about a used school bag. It is a song about being compared to a new one and how it will be thrown away in the end, but it is something that says, "It's okay because you took good care of it. It is not from a person's point of view, but from a bag=thing's point of view. I normally listen to your music in the background while I'm doing things like playing Minecraft, but I had to re-wind and listen to these lyrics to make sure I wasn't hearing anything wrong. This really hit too close to home, lyrics wise. The chorus hit me like a truck, the whole "The me that you've seen wasn't enough to keep, now it seems" stuff. Something close to, if not exactly that, happened to me in 8th grade. All but 2 of my friends had up and abandoned me. It still hurts to think of to this day, especially since those 'friends' had been by my side for 5 whole years. I wouldn't normally be writing about this, but those lyrics just made my world stop for a minute and I felt compelled to share. Now if you excuse me, I'll be sobbing over Minecraft as I explore the Nether.

But now I've met someone really special in my life, and he went through the same thing as me. So I know he won't abandon me like those others. Oh, wow. I couldn’t properly understand the lyrics before. I love this song, it perfectly describes what happened between me and my ex-fiancé. 7 years I spent with her. The last three years she grew a habit of ghosting me for weeks or even months. She had severe anxiety and would freak out if I confronted her about the ghosting, so I would never confront her until after the university semester ended. I kept in so much pain and grief over those semesters, until it became truly clear she was bored of me, and I stopped letting myself be used. Two years later and I still think of her every time I go to the city we lived in. Thank you, Mr. Stetson, for the English cover. Thank you, Sayri, for the translation. And most of all, thank you, inabakumori, for writing such a poignant song.

thank you for singing this cover... at first i listened to this song for fun and i didn't really listen to the english meaning that clearly, until i actually decided to one night and it really resonated with me. I really love this song so much, the lyrics kinda feels like my feelings right now from my perspective about an old bruised relationship or friendship i once had with someone very close and they..well left me and it felt as if everything i tried to do for them wasn't enough. I eventually ended up hurting them as much as they hurt me as well and they chose someone toxic over me so yeah... they still chose em over me tbh and all I could really say is I use this song to cope while i do other activities, like playing on the swtich or drawing even. sometimes I sing this version to myself. I couldn't really put the way i felt of my emotions in describable words and this cover captured every emotion I've been feeling deep down. Thank you Will for making all these covers! I hope you will keeps surprising us more! :'D

I doubt everyone would read this, but I think this song just fits me the most when trying to make friends with everyone. Whenever I do, they just feel uncomfortable for rushing despite my time at school ingrain the fact I rush it to get it done, whenever I talk about characters I like from a certain game, they acuse me for being a threat when I'm not when I made a shitpost. It just made me feel alone, that I don't belong in anything. I think, for me, the song is about a person who wants to be friends, but it turns out they get abandon over what they enjoyed and like. Sure, there are people who relates to this song too, but this is the most relatable song to me like Compared Child by Yuyu and Unhappy Refrian by Wowaka (Rest in peace, my man.). I wanted to make an eng cover of this song with Kagamine Len with Rin doing the Aaaa parts that Will did since there's a reason why I have Len sing the main parts while Rin can just do the Aaaa parts. But, I'm getting off track, aren't I? If Will and/or inabakumori reading this, keep up doing what you're doing and I promise you there might be a better day tomorrow. P.S can't belive I'm typing this on my birthday, but it's one of those songs that'll make you comment on.

Since you’ve been covering a lot of inubakumori’s songs, I kinda have an recommendation for you, not as a song but rather an anime. Have you ever seen/read Girls Last tour/Shojou Shumatsu Ryoko? Its basically the living embodiment of the feel of lagtrain, and part of me is convinced (for many reasons) that lagtrain was actually inspired by that very story. And yes, its slow and seems depressing, but can seriously subvert your expectations throughout, and has one of the most solidly handled manga endings I’ve ever seen. Just a suggestion, (though especially if you’ve seen MIA, it synergies well) love your content!
