This time he gets a moroi that does writing downstairs while the ghost was upstairs.

Ghosts can reach through floors like they can reach through walls. I’ve had many investigations in Edgefield and Woodridge where someone places the book on the first floor and the ghost writes in it from the second floor.

Pretty sure the book just interacted with the ghost through the floor because the range is so big on the tier 3

14:53 the ghost was able to write in the book because the book's range is a sphere (rather than a circle in a horizontal plane) and the teen boy's bedroom is pretty much directly above the entrance, so the book's range would have extended vertically to the ghost's location. i've had it happen a couple of times too on a few maps.

I *like* Phasmo. Especially when my first has a twinteraction in the kitchen and Car-bedroom. It threw a plate and a hammer. I made sure it wasn't a mimic. I put in twins and leave. I get it wrong. It was a YUREI... a GODDAM TWINTERACTING YUREI.

I'd love to see the devs create a ghost called "The Malignant", where it specializes in target priority based off of who initially enters the house first (or in order). A hint to tell you're being targeted is that you are the only one to hear airballs (unless you are in proximity to the target player). If you are targeted, only YOU will have Spirit Box interactions. however, EMF and Journal are available for everyone to detect. (Spirit Box is mandatory on higher difficulty.) If the targeted player leaves the map, it will target whoever entered the house AFTER that person, only until the player(s) who initially entered first re-enter the map. The ghost will ignore other players to go in order of initial player entry (unless a player collides with the ghost model - in which case, immediate death for that player) and then the hunt will continue. Each hunt that is unsuccessful will cause each hunt to go a little longer or the ghost to move a little faster. The Ghost will begin a hunt at 60% sanity or if the targeted player hears 3 consecutive airballs (which is a strong hint). To throw players off, This ghost will change sounds and appearance based off the players character gender. If player is playing a male, it will sound female. (vice versa). as well as shape-shift between genders while blinking in a hunt.

This sounds fun! Like a Banshee, but more complicated. My only thought: to differentiate it more from a Banshee maybe when the targeted player leaves the map, it targets the person after, and when the original target re-enters the map, they are put at the bottom of the list.

please no, the banshee is already too annoying to figure out 😭 the idea's good, but I just think that adding it would make it even more difficult to know if you're dealing with a banshee. the banshee test is about determining that the ghost has a target. if another ghost type can have a target, and there's not a definitive way to distinguish their behavior towards targets, then it makes banshees even more unbalanced on no evidence.

Escape/Repel: Ghost hunts with a waypoint on your current location Cleanse/Ghost event/Ghost photo: Ghost event into a hunt Paramic: Temporary boost to paramic probability, not sure how the drawback will work for this, maybe a sanity drop every paramic reading(which can be a Moroi false positive) Etc etc

Worse than being unable to fully light the Summoning Circle with 60% sanity, if you have anywhere between 64% and 79% sanity when you start lightning the candles, it'll let you light all of them but immediately start the cursed hunt on top of you WITHOUT the 5 second ghost event that normally stuns the ghost.

Yeah the Easter Event made this challenge easier. Had Spirit, Hantu, and Wraith. (The Wraith screwed my game up bad and semi scammed me until I reloaded the game) Having the DOTS pen with salt allows u to find Wraith so easily. Thank god, it made life easy.

I wonder if instead, the Ouija Board is bugged to allow answering a question even if you don't have sanity to "pay" for it if it is in the middle of answering a question you successfully paid for. Depending on how the code is written, I could see that being the case. If so, you could potentially have unlimited questions answered so long as you don't give it a chance to finish answering? Also, to try from the other perspective, one could try waiting until it's done or say goodbye before trying something you cannot afford while not at 0%.

Just two little hints for future dark challenges: You could (if you use OBS) use a colour correction filter to increase the brightness for stream (using a Hotkey on a stream deck for toggling should be possible) and you can also turn up your brightness for yourself in the Nvidia settings. If you don't want to "cheese" the game, you just could turn on the brightness filter for stream. With the right settings, it looks way brighter (a bit weird, though) and your viewers can see things much better.

Yeah, Ridgeview is bugged with the UV on the ground for me too. The floors and walls have been like that for me for ages. At some points even just shining my light in the room, half the room is black. I don’t know what it is. Half the time it’s in the other boy bedroom down the other hallway, next it’s the actual hallway or stairs, but it’s always upstairs. Sometimes happens to me on Edgefield too.

I got a Mimic twice in a row imitating a Jinn (the speed-up when it has a straight line of sight and gets slower when it is nearer) But the other 3 was Wraith (salt), Revenant (running like h3ll when it saw me) and Mare (light-switch toggle right after I switched it on).

since when can thayes teleport. i just had a game where i knew the ghost was in the garage and i wanted it to hunt so i used the music box and heard the ghost singing from the garage, but after about 2 seconds of the music playing the ghost(which was a thaye) teleported to my location(which was the boys room) and started hunting on top of me. so can thayes teleport to you?

It’s been months and I have reinstalled and it still won’t play right. What happens is I log in and I can’t interact with anything. The only thing I can do is look around, even the esp to leave game doesn’t let me interact with. I have to curl alt del to force shut down the game. Hopefully this makes since and u know how to fix.

In this instance, it would be good for a Moroi Test because the board would drain you to zero sanity, which makes the Moroi super fast.

A wish can only be used once per game, even if a different player tries to say it :) Also the wishes that cause blindness, deafness, etc (Such as wishing for knowledge) all only impact the player that made the wish!

I know I'm late but I do have a question about the yurei ability. I've been rolling no evidence and other ghosts are closing the front door for a ghost event and slamming doors. I had a shade of all things slam the door. Is there a true yurei test on no evidence or is it just bc I'm using custom? Because I've been noticing a lot of hooplah on custom if I'm being honest lol
