Hahahaha I think she just got lucky like Du'Met and doesn't get impaled like Jamie. Kate kinda just falls and hits something on the way down, I'd say it's more luck. Considering she can die before that point so it's no plot armor.

(Here's a Spoiler, if you didn't see the worst ending don't reed this) Du''met wants Kate to be alive in order to make a deal with Mark (at least until he loses his patience and wants her death if she reach to the end) so every time she is in combat with Du'met he will always left her alive i think, she will only like scare her or try to harm her but he won't kill her i think, HOWEVER Jamie can kill her with the glass trap, making Du'met changing his plan and wanting to kill everyone i guess xD also if Du'met didn't die by the fell then Kate can't either, Du'met throw her in a safe place but of course he dosen't want to look suspicius xD

@@Franju98 yeah I’m aware haha, I know she can die certain times and you get that deal ending only if Mark and Kate are the last two survivors. I still feel it’s kinda cheap when Kate doesn’t die tho yk? But every Dark Picture game does have that one character who has plot armor until the final act so it’s kinda normal lol

@@theofficialxtreamx so if you fail the qte during the roof top chase and tell her to help she rushes in and dies but if you say run away she will survive so which ever playthrough you doing that will kill her or save both of you

If I was in that situation I would've used the metal rod to make sure du'met was dead but honestly I'm not that strong so I would've died.

i had something completely different from whats in the film and i wonder what choice influenced this. for examlpe i didnt have that choice between "help me" and "run", when kate was in danger. in my game jamie was in danger, kate has chosen to help her and then she fell from the roof. she survived and her relation with jamie grew bc she "sacrified" herself. erin was just pissed a little cause jamie tried to cheer up and force kate to stand up with some silly jokes. so there is more options

If you played previous dark pictures games and failed QTES but character would almost never die = they got a very strong plot armor

Kate has second strongest plot armor with her ex mark litterly cant die (exceptions: the boat escape scene and secret scene)

Dumet didn’t want to kill her before the last chapter. You can notice that every opportunity he has, he won’t do it. He intended to use her and Mark as a bait to bring new victims to his island.
