I find it odd that men of the faith told the guy he still had demons in him, but then was like, "Yeah, you're good to go home." It's kind of a wait...what? moment.

Its actually quite usual for Christian exorcisms to last a number of days and are a bit like treatment for cancer or something, sort of 'Well we've got most of the demons out of your body, but there are still some and you might need further exorcising in the future. Make sure to grovel beneath God for the rest of your life.'

I went to a court mandated rehab for weed when I was a teenager in Chicago called Haymarket. Pretty hardcore facility, mostly homies and heroin addicts. All the black dudes kept blaming their actions and addictions on the devil. So one day right into the middle of group a dude is blaming the devil and an older black man stuck his head In the door and said "the devil done got up and moved on along time ago because he got sick of all you niggas blaming all your shit on him". It was quite interesting.

BIGGVS HAVTIVS DICKVS II Unlike you I have experienced psychosis before it’s not pretty but this is demonic possession not psychosis. All of the symptoms that Michael exhibits correlate with demonic possession specifically spitting, not remembering, speaking in tongues and his exuberant rage. Most cases of psychosis including mine are filled with paranoia, hallucinations and fear like being afraid to leave ones house or room with the feeling of imminent death. I have experienced psychosis 3 times and not once felt rage. And if you speak to someone who has had psychosis before they will most definitely say the same. Micheal was demonically possessed.
@graceonthewater

@@Wagna762 How would you know that person has never experienced psychosis before? Rage and anger are really common in psychosis- not everyone is you, and not everyone has your same experience. It is certainly more likely that this murderer had a brain injury or a mental illness than that he was possessed by demons.

Sounds like he became addicted to pain medications and then fell in with a fringe religious group. Especially in a community who would rather perform exorcisms than face a possible drug addiction. It sounds like he had a mental break. I'm definitely open to the possibility of possessions, but this absolutely does not sound like one.

I am grateful Mr Ballen sent me here. Love the art (audio and video), good narration. This specific story didn't scare me at all, after decades of watching horror films. However, that last illustration, "demonic Michael", is what I call a good jump scare (I usually find them lazy an cheap). I had to turn the lights on. I am happy to have felt something, it's been a while. Now I'm worried about going to the bathroom, alone. I'm annoyed at you all for that. Liked, subscribed, commented. Long live Bedtime Stories!

@@SamuelBlack84 The bible actually says they do exist. So you must be a demon-possessed man who wants to remove protection against them. Satanists who practice black magick would disagree with you as they bargain with them. (human sacrifice is part of history in pagan times) Also a lot of rock musicians made deals for fame and fortune and admit this in interviews.
@SamuelBlack84
@SamuelBlack84 2 жыл бұрын
@@UToobUsername01 Whatever
@UToobUsername01
@UToobUsername01 2 жыл бұрын
@@SamuelBlack84 Well to test if its true you should investigate my claim. Find a real satanist cult and ask to be a member and try to communicate with demons. You may be able to get possessed and find out first hand if the deal you made with the devil results in you seeing a change in your life. IE ask for fame fortune and lots of girls to want to bone you in exchange for loyalty to the evil one. If it's not true you lose nothing. You can come back and tell me I am full of crap and take satisfaction you are correct. If it IS true, you know first hand that demons are real and now come back wiser. There are a lot of stories in horror movies on these demons (the ficitonal stuff) but what I am talking about are historical ritual sacrifice stuff where people killed babies to obtain something. (see the movie Apocalypto - mel gibson directed) In a lot of movies they always use adult actor to be the ritual sacrifices but historically it was child sacrifice. That is what is implied by "sacrificing virgins". It's not referring to hot adult babes who never got nailed, but children who are innocent and not even had a chance to be sexually active yet. The purpose of this act is to offer something more valuable than adults ie innocent people .. to prove you are serious about serving the dark god/s. We killed and burned witches at the stake as a result of too many people practicing black magick in the past, (some who were wrongfuly accused of it but no proof which is where we get the expression "they are on a witch hunt"; implying the mere accusation of being a witch was enough to get you burned) but today it is frowned upon since judges can't tell the difference between a mentally ill person with epilepsy and demon possession. A demon possessed person is often thought of by secular humanists as merely mentally ill. This disguises the real cases of demon possession by putting all people who exhibit signs of demon-possession in the basket of mentally ill people. But the demons allows the person possessed to do things supernatully considered by satanists to be "gifts" eg super strength, the ability to transmute into animal forms, levitation, psychic powers etc. Many ex-satanists admit they obtain power and creativity from a spirit that told them what to do or were supernaturally controlled to perform skills that they themselves never had before the possession took place. Assassins are thought be enhance with demon possession in many conspiracy theory circles. (ie super high accuracy with guns and resistant to damage from taking fire from guns) This is a topic you won't find out about in your local church. It's hidden by the establishment for fear that you will obtain those abilities. (only the elites get to use them and keep this stuff within their bloodlines to maintain control over the world in hopes of not having any rival compete for power - think of "vampire clans" or mafia families who will fight to be in total control of territory)

Bit late to the party but it appears this story has a small-scale Mandela effect. As I was listening I was thinking 'No, that's not right, it happened in the 90's when I was a kid and he killed that Marie woman, not his wife.' So I googled it and your version is indeed the correct version, but I have such clear memories of seeing it all over the news when I was a child (which would be impossible I suppose as I was born in 1990!) that I asked my Mum about it and she said the same as me: Happened when I was a kid and he killed the Marie woman. I've asked a few people and some have said they remember it the same way I do and some remember it the correct way. Just thought you might find that interesting!

I heard about this in the 90's also, when I was a kid, but I believe it was in a mini-documentary or crime show showing news clips. I think the Mandela effect is people just remembering details incorrectly. I can see how people would believe it though. That's my opinion anyway.
@Masokitsu
@Masokitsu 6 жыл бұрын
@Danielle Brown The 'Mandela effect' is just your brain remembering things differently than they truly were - a collection of false memories..look it up if you're curious about the scientific reasoning behind it. I've experienced "the effect" myself many time's, but then I realized I was the one remembering it wrong, once by asking my 1 yr older brother - if when he was a kid what he remembered, who confirmed I was wrong....For one of the examples I experienced. But believe what you want, I'm sorry to **** in your Cheerios. I can be rude sometimes, but I apologize and I respect your opinions. Keep believing (and don't believe me) if it makes you happy ☺! Very very amazing story....one I've never heard of. It's odd to think they let him leave that day only to be having murderous thoughts towards the one who loved him. The history could've been changed had mental health been less stigmatized then and he gotten proper help.

Unlike you I have experienced psychosis before it’s not pretty but this is demonic possession not psychosis.

That's very interesting, I do believe in the paranormal and God myself, sometimes it can be a spiritual thing and sometimes it could be something totally different. I think when Michael had that back injury he could of damaged part of his brain, it's very possible that this could have happened. However, people shouldn't always dismiss something as mental illness and vise versa.

I believe in the reality of spiritual beings but don't think demons had anything to do with this. This man was suffering from severe psychological issues and that cult-like church and exorcism only agitated them until he completely lost his mind.

Very well done video I actually live not far from Ossett, an ex of a family member saw Michael Taylor running down the street, when we were out for drinks one night he brought it up, usually a jovial guy but he seemed a little quieter when retelling it Most likely explanation is he hit/hurt his head when he fell or the chronic pain did a number on his psyche which compounded by the cult and the priests sent him over the edge into homicidal madness. The fact they told him they'd left a few demons in him probably didn't help his mental state either

I love how almost all the time with these hospitalizations for mental illnesses happen, they nearly never work and most times actually perpetuate and make the issue worse.... It’s almost like cutting off people from society is actually bad for them, how about that? We humans are social animals and that must be taken into heavy consideration before isolating anyone.

While rare I find the idea of demonic possession plausible, although as I stated extremely rare. It’s one of the main reasons the Catholic Church have to investigate to make sure the problem is in fact a spiritual problem and not a mental problem. Hence why it is much rarer.

My Aunt lost her mind one day. She started swearing and insulting everyone around her and fighting, she refused to go work or do anything. Her family took her to 3 different priests. This happened over 5 days. Meanwhile all this time she was not eating food. Finally she became unresponsive and the ambulance took her to hospital and she was admitted into the psych ward. Turns out she was going through depression and she had some chemical imbalances. So she is fine as long as she takes her meds. Priests still got paid though about 3K each for their travel costs.

Okay gotta admit this video did actually get me with the little jump scare near the end with the face is that I did watch the video originally but I always skipped over the part at the end cause the end of the video and such but just rewatching it to hear what else was at the end if I may have missed anything...well I had a drink in my hand took a sip and then turned back at the video and just have the face go from friendly to just “I’ll haunt you and kill you” got me cause I wasn’t expecting it like at all.

A Methodist minister and a broad church Anglican Rector are not "Priests" The latter perhaps, but in name only. Maybe if the real thing been called upon this story would have had a happier ending. You use the word priests a lot in this story, which would mean Roman Catholic or Eastern Orthodox clergy (the real thing) A bumbling Methodist and an Anglican rector amounts to a layperson and a heretic as far as those demons were/are concerned. They must have been laughing. It would be better to say "ministers or clergy or pastors" or some such - not "Priests" That said I really enjoy your channel. Excellent narration and stories.

Yeah, the Catholic Church has designated exorcists that is trained to deal with this sort of thing, and one of the things they do is have an actual shrink check a person to make sure what's going on _isn't_ just a case of mental illness.
