The devil does rule the earth for a time. Then he gets thrown to the pit. Right now he just runs around grasping at straws, hoping someone takes a bite. Not in the places you would think, but the places you least expect. He is on an endless stretch to gain power he has already lost. Fighting a war that is already won. Spoiler, he loses every time.

I used to believe in parallel universes. Until I saw a comment from someone that said. Why would God allow parallel universes to rxist. We have one soul that we were given at conception. There are not multiple versions of your soul and you. Wouldn't it be odd to have multiple heavens and hells. Where one version of you was saved and went to Heaven after you died and and another hell were a bad evil version of you never repented and is stuck burning in hell for all eternity. But the movie looks great. I watched the short film. But want to see the actual movie now.

God offers you even more and better than what the devil does. Most people who would do what the devil says are just lazy and looking for an easy way out, and it's not even easy; it gets worse. Don't you know that the only reason the devil exists is because of God?? He was one of his beautiful angels, but he didn't listen to his creator. He can't even say God's name. He's afraid of God. Read the Bible and pray. You'd probably understand better.
