Proud of this dude for being introspective and working on emotions and spirituality. Progress is not a straight line but if he sticks to those morals, ethics, and values he can keep getting back on track of progress to continue the journey despite the pitfalls and setbacks that come with the cards he was dealt. He's held up pretty well for such a rocky ride.

I don’t believe he’s turned his life around. I know so many addicts who will get right in front of your face and say they’re changing their ways, while they just did some grimy ish a couple hours prior to seeing you then leave n go right back in some grimy ish. My girls sister is the same way. Swore she wasn’t taking pills anymore, said that cps is involved because of one of her neighbors putting stolen property in her shed. And cps does weekly count or her prescriptions to make sure she’s not out of hand. We get a message from another neighbor saying she’s taking care of the daughter and has been for months because the police went into the sisters house and found a bunch of pills. And every week they go to count her medicine and her and the baby dad sneak out the back and leave because they’re still using. Not making any progress to get her daughter back. This guy here has nobody for support. No parents. Sister disowned him, and you believe he’s going down the right path? Nah, not happening.

Wrong, you are placing the cart before the horse. You don't just blame society for the results, you blame society for creating and/or neglecting the root causes that led to the results as well. If you don't focus on the causes and only the results, you will end up with more results and not less, no matter how successful you are at addressing the results. If you have a problem with mice in your home, catching the mice and releasing them does nothing to stop the mice from entering the house. The only way to stop the mice, is to fix the issue of them getting into the house in the first place. Granted, this person needs help, but is he willing to agree to follow the rules and make the sacrifices necessary? Based on his own story, he is the reason he is where he is. Very true, he may have never had the chance to know better, and that should be the focus going forward. Unless you support forced involuntary commitment to a mental hospital, all you can do as a society is to mitigate his impact on others. Meanwhile, try supporting politicians that want to stop the cause, and not politicians that claim to care after society has ended up called the devil's butthole.

I’ve been watching this channel for over a year, but have never commented. This one hit me hard. My daughter was born to a meth addicted mother, who more than likely traded a sexual favor for drugs with a man who was involved in a biker gang. My wife and I adopted her from birth. I can’t help but think what her life may have been like. She has been surrounded by a loving family, a loving extended family, and receives the prescribed medication that is needed to help her cope with some of the disabilities that I see Robert struggling with. She was born like Robert, but placed in a completely different context. Robert, there is hope, but it may not be in this life. I’m going to go give my daughter a kiss and watch her peacefully sleep for a few moments. Mark, keep it up!

Eeeek... 🤭 I once believed there was a savior. Now I believe we all will judge ourselves & are responsible to get our own asses to the place we seek (enlightenment/heaven/back to the collective). I'm all for whatever works for ppl, but always keep yourself accountable for your own shit. Own your mistakes & work on improving the behaviors/habits/characteristics that need improving. I am fairly certain calling a name isn't going to be all that is required. Whether Jesus was an enlightened dude, God's son, or otherwise.. it's on you & me. Empowering to recognize that. Oh, & drugs, 3 out of 4 immediate family members dead (2 by overdoses.. found my baby sister dead on my supply in my room) so I know a thing or 2 about trauma & what that can do to a person. Ayahuasca assisted me in getting off a 12+ year opiate dependency. Psychedelics are medicine. No rehabs, ever. Admit I'm powerless?! Absolutely not. Sending love to all who read this. 🤗🤍

Anyone who grows up in a horrible situation is told "We did the best we could," by that VERY SAME ABUSIVE PARENT or by their enabler spouse as part of universal gaslighting/manipulation tactic. The child is brainwashed, taught to question their own perceptions of reality, told "you were always so selfish" when it comes to providing basic needs like food to eat or a proper pair of shoes. It takes years of therapy and moving FAR FAR FAR AWAY from abusers to finally understand what happened to you.

I mean he clearly high but having been a addict for many years, clean now, my thing was more heroin but I have done lots of meth and the cough usually happens literally right after you do the shot. Usually when you do big shots as well. I never noticed that the cough would continue really after 5 min. I think this dude is just coughing possibly not because of what your saying in my opinion. Not that it really matters lol but yeah.

The Lord then came into both our lives and 15 years later we are both drug free and respectable men than fear God and now enjoy helping people. Praise the mighty name of Jesus Christ!!!!

I will say with 100% honesty- LOVE is not always enough. I know that sounds terrible. But when someone has been conditioned to live like this guy, it becomes their method of survival and the only source of comfort snd routine they know. No matter how much love you give a person, they will cling to what they know. I have given the last 26 years of my life to a person who had a shitty childhood, no love or care; became a Meth addict and was diagnosed Schizophrenic 9 years ago and this person STILL behaves the way he learned to survive on his own growing up- from the age of 12. He is 54 and I'm 46. I promise you- there's really only hope to truly help someone adapt to a better lifestyle if they can be reached as early as possible. I was nearly destroyed in many ways by a guy who wouldn't even blink if I died tomorrow after spending over 26 years trying to love him, support him and show him better ways. Mental health is the most priceless, precious thing we have.

This is a good example of why our country is imploding. People like this have no idea of what normal looks like. Chaos is the only thing they understand. When children are raised by broken parents, they almost always turn out broken as well. We live in a country where anyone can have children. Maybe we need to change that from being a right to a privilege. Just because you Can have babies doesn't mean you Should.

There is hunter vs farmer hypothesis explaining ADHD which would give hunter genetic advantage. @kattilathehunfreedomfighter really? Because there are millions of children, across the globe, who are praying every minute of everyday to God for something...anything to eat for themselves and their families, but those children still pass away from famine! There are 100s of thousands of children who are constantly praying and begging for the abuse (sexual, emotional, psychological) their priests, preachers, pastors, etc are committing against them to end! Yet, those children are hushed, gaslit, told they're lying, etc, from their so-called supportive churches and sometimes their own families. Then the churches cover it up, sweep it all under the rug, and possibly pay off the families so they don't go to the police. Why would giving it all over to God work for Robert and other people, but your supposed God won't even end the suffering of the most innocent and sometimes most vulnerable members of any community, the children!?! Or better yet, why did this supposed God allow that kind of tortuous abuse to start? Why didn't your God save Robert, when he was young from the tumultuous events of his childhood?

And yes, I did end up becoming a drug addict. At the start, I do agree that addiction can be genetic or a product of environment, but after you turn 30 and are still slamming dope, get help.
