I do not know if it is humble to say if I have been enlightened, or if I am a fool. Perhaps I am both. For I am new to Buddhism but I have been Buddhist for over three decades and not knowing it. The more I seek The official teachings The more I realize I have been blessed. For I have walked the path alone, and now it feels like I have found some friends. I am very thankful for my life. For I feel my cup is always overfilling. Without our cups over filling we cannot fill others. When we become one we are one with God. But the word God has many meanings. And Buddhism I believe you call it Nirvana. It is the higher self. For when I was younger as a child I knew that I would have lived the same life you lived as you would have lived mine. We are all the same person just living different lives throughout different times. For the Buddha was enlightened, he was still a man. The continuation of knowledge of wisdom takes different shapes and forms. It encompasses each man differently. For what I experienced was different but yet the comment denominator was the same. I really enjoy listening to this I heard this for the first time today. We are all friends, yeah we are all one. The only thing that separates us is our perception of self.

I have but one question 🙋🏾‍♂️ on the topic of anger (around 51:52) the Buddha instructs us to use love as a guide, but previously in this same section the Buddha instructs us to be above love, to transcend it and to free our mind of it. Is this because when you are in a lower state of anger you may need the higher vibrational frequency of love to pull you up (and then you re-transcend love) or is there a deeper understanding to this?
