Before I discovered and learned all the CRPS lectures from specialists on youtube i was so sad. How come ? could not undersand accept this strange pain in my wrist and finger, while my shoulder fracture was recuperating so well!😏 Now every morning in bed i choose a lecture and feel better every day, accepting ‘my crps’ as a temporary visitor in my system. Thank you for helping me to heal myself 😍👍🏼💃🏻

Dear doctor, i thank you for learning me to understand ‘“pain” better and to accept my crps hand which started after a subcaphum fracture.

I can not verify anything under clinical trial conditions, but am researching an old technique known as earth bonding, for an unrelated condition. It struck me that no substantial research has been investigated for crps and earthing your body. I can not provide any additional data other than it may be another thing worthwhile of looking at or into, in relation to this condition. This mans advice is the best I have seen on KZbin regarding this at present but certainly the medical community is somewhat in its infancy on how best to deal with people who are afflicted with crps.

Hello, I was going to share this with my daughter's school but it does always frustrate me that it is mentioned that 50% of children have pre existing anxiety, ADHD etc. It is then focused on when in my opinion, the child may become anxious after getting crps. My daughter was a very confident funny child before crps. I have asked myself if I'm missing something but I genuinely feel she is not any of the things you listed. Please also mention that thateans 50% of children are not anxious etc before crps. We have been treated so badly with doctors focusing wrongly on possible anxiety. Luckily my daughter through her confidence and determination is I feel heading to lower pain but not once has she been anxious. Please mention this in future as it's so harmful for doctors to focus on this as so many children I know with crps did not have anxiety or anything you mentioned. Please try to mention the child may not have these.

I have full body and I don’t wanna live anymore. One surgery took everything away from me. There are no more happy days for me at all, or Hope. I told so many doctors that I believed I had nerve damage or something that was related to the surgery and they all told me it was anxiety and in my head, if I would have been treated early, if they would have listened I might be better. Every day is a nightmare and I can’t take it anymore, I won’t take it anymore.

Dave, you still there buddy, I hope so. I was diagnosed with CRAPS (A much better acronym) several years ago, like you it can strike anywhere but the pain in my feet was terrible 24/7. I got some relief by guzzling about 100mg of Ibruprofen every day, it only numbed it and was destroying my stomach and kidneys, I had no choice but to take it as you know. Four years ago I spent 4 days in hospital after developing blood clots in my leg and lungs, lots of them, they gave me Tramadol for the pain and guess what, it stopped the CRAPS pain completely. Ask your doctor to let you try it my friend, you have nothing to loose and everything to gain. 100mg a day is all it takes to allow me to work, providing I am able to mix standing and sitting, I have my life back, I pray you are still fighting and that this might help you.

Thank you. Your talk Dr. was very informative . My granddaughter who is 9 was just diagnosed with this. She experienced an insignificant injury a month or so before symptoms began. Can CRPD be a hereditary condition? In addition to an injury? Or just from an injury? Again thank you.

Hello, Lo. The condition is typically the result of an injury. Please let us know how else we can assist you and your granddaughter.

Dr. This is my daughter who LoBell is talking about. She got diagnosed last Oct at the age of 9 and just recently had a flare up this Oct at 10. We have tried anti seizure meds and an opioid. They did not work. 3 doctors she has seen have said she is the youngest they have seen in their practice. Seeing my daughter in extreme pain was/is heart breaking.

I am living in Taiwan, not in USA. My 11years son had recently been diagnosed as CRPS. 7/24 pain in two knees. Had been ketamine IV infusion, but no help, still very painful, Pain specialist suggested using SCS therapy. I think Spinal cord stimulator surgery is too painful for a 11 years boy, There is no CRPS expert in Taiwan. Can somebody give me suggestion, someone help me. Is it possible that CRPS goes away a few years later ? Can somebody help me, a helpless Daddy.

Some CRPS Warriors do go into remission, but it is not guaranteed. Reach out to the International Research Consortium for CRPS at crpsconsortium.org.
