I'm so confused about Rob and Laura's financial situation. How is it that Rob being the head writer on a very popular television show that has 40 million viewers (The Big Bang Theory and I believe CSI averaged around 17 million regular viewers and they paid some of their actors a million dollars per episode) so how is it that Rob is paid so bad that they haven't had $2,100 in months? And several episodes where Buddy and Sally are always saying they aren't paid enough and threaten to quit if they don't get a raise. I read that tv writers typically made around $1,500 per script in the 1960's. That would be around $14,000 or $15,000 buying power today. It's insane that the money for Rob and his co-writers would be so low.

I think free-lancers were more common then, and probably commanded the prices you mention. I would guess that staffs of writers were salaried and not paid by the script.

" a little bit " "that's brave! actually, I prefer that everyone reads in French, the work loses some things when translated, don't you find that to be so? / don't you think?" " a little bit" "a little bit? but sir, it's much more than a little bit, I think." hope this helps :)
