@@markcadieux3445 MTM also achieved further success post her Dick Van Dyke era. After doing the DVD show, apart from her run as a cast member of The Doris Day Show for two seasons, Rose Marie did not have much success. She would later claim that Mary Richards, the iconic character on Mary's own very successful show, was inspired by Sally Rogers. Rose Marie also wrote an essay regarding casting couch, where she said she lost out on many roles due to her refusal. She was more secure in her position as an actress/singer as compared to Mary, who had been doing bit parts for a very long time after running away from her home and was in need of a big break.

Another example of Mel's disrespect for Laura. He doesn't care for a moment that another man was literally kissing her on the neck and violating her personal space, not to mention obviously flirting despite her being uncomfortable and on edge, and Rob, as her husband, would have to stop it. No, all he cares for is his show, which he only works on because he married the star's sister. I understand Buddy's disdain for him much more now.

Mary was beautiful. I'm surprised there weren't more episodes about Rob getting jealous. As a television writer, he probably encountered many men who may have cast a roving eye on Laura at parties or whatnot. Instead, there are episodes of her getting jealous of other women, which IMO is stupid. Why would anybody even look at another person if you could see Mary Tyler Moore?

‭1 John‬ ‭3:4‭-‬10‬ ‭KJV‬ [4] Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law. [5] And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin. [6] Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him. [7] Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous. [8] He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. [9] Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. [10] In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.
