Morning Tony. Hope its not been to cold in the loft. Just went out to my shed and the freezing weather has ruined my UHU glue, its all turned a sticky white mess. Wish mine was indoors like yours. You made a great job of the diesel tanks, look very real. I always say those little details make all the difference. I will do another video when it warms up, Have a good day.

nice start tony.looks like a good old diesel depot. remember in your period there was no set pattern for the NEW diesels so they was maintained in old steam sheds normally with steam locos only separated with a basic wall or a sheet. hope this helps.

2:58 Thanks goodness you are buying your lollypop sticks on ebay - I thought you had a serious 'Fab' and 'Mivi' problem there. Or possibly a magnum too far problem (of course a couple of others got suspicious, should have read the comments first!). 17:10 My Great Aunt - who lived in the middle of nowhere - used to have a smaller version for her heating oil. I guess an Aga heating system takes less fuel than a full sized diesel engine though. The man who cut her grass used it to power his lawn mower too. Very nice kit, great extra details.

Cheer's Richard have you seen the MPD video I did about a year or so ago. as I used the same method then and it worked out really well. I used a very light grey then weathered the stones with humbrol green and black wash which gives them its gritty look....thank for commenting cheer's Tony

Now Tony, you didnt buy all them sticks did you lol, sure i saw a "fab" lolly stick in there. Nice kit and i like the additions you made. Surprising how far along you are with the whole layout, it doesnt seem that long ago that i started watching your channel and its progressed quite a bit.

brilliant job Tony! would the stirrers do for the groundwork as well or are the lollipop sticks thicker?...they look great for capping stones anyway..which metcalfe stone is it?..is there a reference number?...im looking for something like that..and wow what a fantastic job on those tanks!!!!! your patience and skill never cease to amaze me ! all the best dave
@TONYNORTHEASTERN

Thank you Dave the Metcalfe stone is code MOO58 or 50 as they is 2 types the old number is M0050. the coffee stirrers may be to thin depending on the height of the sleepers. code 100 or code 75 I think are at different heights. I just use lollipop sticks because they are cheap. £1 for 150 in the pound shop.. what ever you use as long as you are at the same height as the top of the sleepers you could use anything........ thanks again Tony
