Definitely getting the PPF on the full front of the model 3. I am actually dropping of the car Monday to get the PPF and tint done by Dynamic Tint. Can’t wait to have the protection. Tyler is definitely great at what he does!

I appreciate your content and value your opinions on products. What appeals the most to me is how your car looks for the time you have owned it. Keep doing what you do! As a female I have cleaned my car never cared in the long-term. A Tesla however is an investment and I definitely want to protect it. I recently wondered the difference between the two options. Thanks again..... Interested in the price as i recently was quoted. I know I could have asked the difference at the company I spoke with but hung up and realized I had forgot to ask.😬

Glad you like the content! Also I can't say that I recommend spending over 5k to have the entire car done but a lot of people like to be totally protected. If I were giving you advice as a friend I would say the full front is the best option (bumper, hood, quarter panels, headlights, mirrors). That's just me doing that alone is like 1700 ish and then tint would be more depending on what you get.

As I was watching I thought about a video you haven’t done, and frankly something that doesn’t get spoken a lot about with Tesla. THE SOUND SYSTEM… I have a 2021 Model Y Longe Range and the system is by far awesome. Thoughts! Keep up the good work. If you make a video shout me out! Lol ✌🏾 CA Fan

These videos about Dynamic Tint make me want to road trip my ST from central PA to get out there and use the shop for tint and PPF. If money wasn't a hold up, I'd probably do it. I guess I'm messing up by not having my own channel with almost 45,000+ subscribers to fund the trip!

Definitely worth the money for front bumper ppf. But the whole car? Not for me. I was quoted like $2-3K on ppf for entire car

Thanks for the video! How long would you say the process takes to get the PPF installed? Getting our MY next month and definitely getting this PPF!
@Gjeebs3 жыл бұрын
Takes a day or half day. It has to sit in the shop for a day usually after complete so it sets correctly. You can’t take it directly into the sun because it will boil the ppf

This is slightly off topic but any thoughts on Clearplex for protecting the 1/4 window panel? Seems like that's a favorite window breaking area for thieves to get into the trunk or the car. Curious what Tyler thinks as well.

Hello . Brand new to tesla here . Do I really have ppf or ceramic coat a tesla ? I’ve owned multiple luxury vehicles and never did any of these treatments and they seemed to last fine . In your honest recommendation do I need any of these treatments? Also can I use a normal car wash for a tesla ? Thanks v much

@@Gjeebs car paint also has to sit on a car for 2-6 weeks (depending on who you ask) before this can be applied without pulling the paint. Tesla tries to get cars out the door too fast to be able to offer something like this.

Good comparison. PPF is still overkill IMO. You will never get your money back on it. PPF won't net you thousands back on your trade in and if you are ever in a wreck you'll have to get PPF installed again because most likely insurance will not cover it.

Honestly if you're spending so much money on a car, and plans to keep it for a long time you should consider doing this or at the very least a full front. Tesla factory paint is probably one of the cheapest compared to other manufacturers so having another layer is a must.

I understand that content providers need income and I get that you quite your job, but seriously, your constant hawking of products has become frankly tiresomeand insulting to viewers. With other sponsors on my videos I feel like they are relevant to the content and either fill a need or will save you money. If it's too much just don't watch

I would just like to add that, if you own a detail shop, and you were asked what is the best product for protecting my cars paint. Would you say, well I don't want to push a product on you in fear of seeming like a sell out to a certain company. Or would you give your customer(viewers) the best advice you can give to help protect that paint? If I buy or even if I am gifted a product and it is a wonderful product. I will tell anyone that is interested in it that it is well worth the money. I respectfully disagree with you, from one Randall to another. 😁
