Finances depend on area. $8000 in the Southern states buys a very opulent wedding, whereas $10,000+ isn't enough for most weddings on the West Coast.

I totally agree! Tahoe will be more expensive than Redfish Lake; Hawaii will be more expensive than San Diego!

@@simplyeloped I’m getting eloped in Tahoe with your business’ services. I chose a custom venue, which is a cabin or chateau that can accommodate 20 people. It’s more like 26 for the event if I keep less important people on my list and one person who’s elderly and out of state. If my own family decides that our decision is an offense against them and they decide not to be there, then that would mean more room for the others

@@simplyeloped thank you. They all have opinions and demands and have literally said that my wedding is more about them than it is about me. Which is one of the biggest driving factors for my fiancé and I choosing an elopement. We are sick of my family’s control and narcissism

@@TheAsh-hole I'm so heartbroken to hear this. Your wedding should be about YOU! I hope you are able to find common ground with your family so they can realize that they're celebrating your love. Weddings should, ultimately, be selfless not selfish on part of the guests.
