I remember few years back after my wife died, I was left alone with 3 kids. I suffered severe depression and mental disorder. Got diagnosed with bipolar. Not until a friend recommended me to psilocybin mushrooms treatment. Psilocybin treatment changed my life for better. I can proudly say i'm totally clean for 6 years and still counting. Always look to nature for solution to tough problems, Shrooms are phenomenal.

I love hearing great life changing stories like this. I want to become a mycologist because honestly mushrooms are the best form of medicine (most especially the psychedelic ones) There are so many people today used magic mushrooms to ween off of SSRI medication- its amazing! Years back i wrote an entire essay about psychedelics. they saved you from death buddy, lets be honest here.

I too love hearing about others that have made it back.I got addicted cause of a car accident in 2007 that I am still in pain from, that doctors say is only arthritis then they took my pain meds and put me suboxone since Sept 2nd 2021. Even if I take it or not I still have that pain, so afraid I'm gonna git sucked back in to the pills cause I can't even work but can't get disability either so idk what folks like me do but prayer is all I have done and still the pain so idk anymore 😢 sorry for rambling. Just searched on chrome and sent him a message. I would really love to go with this treatment as well

It worked excellently from my experience, I was horrifically depressed since childhood. It was relentless. I assumed it would ultimately end me somehow. About twelve years ago I randomly accepted the offer from a friend of a few doses of mushrooms. I did them two consecutive nights alone. First night was pretty mild. The second night? Wow. I saw my depression from every angle, realized much. Next day: depression totally gone. Never came back, never coming back. It's like it's a forest far away I can remember, and could probably find again with enough effort, but it has zero impact on anything in my life or mind. They honestly saved my life and improved it immensely. I never did them again, either. I wish there was a good, organized way to administer them to people who would benefit from them.

working memory isnt shorter than shorter memory, its just using more parts of the brain than just remembering things like we do in short term memory, meaning instead of saying its shorter we could say its more complex :) we need short term memory and other parts of the brain to engage the working memory. For example: short term memory would be remembering a word, working memory would be remembering the word and saying it backwards in our mind. Also I just did my master thesis on it and the fact that I have an inattentive and impulsive ADHD and can explain it now makes me proud, also the fact that you can remember these facts without having to read them, and without a degree in the field is super impressive :D!

I’m 56 and never diagnosed but my entire life has been like this. I never tried to get a diagnosis back in the day to not make excuses. I mean, it’s hard to study when you have no interests in textbooks , except your only fear in school was being made fun of for not going to the next grade by peers. Do I always did just enough. However I’ve been able to learn to cope in ways where I leave myself boundaries that no one realizes I do it. I know it can come across as non ambitious but I’ve been able to be successful in my own way and have a fairly good life.

Hi there! I’m a 24 yr old college grad who studied psychology and one of those purposes for doing so was to be able to do proper research on my own mental health. I’ve known for years now that there’s something “different” about me. I currently only have diagnoses of anxiety and depression but my gut is telling me there’s something else. I’m currently scheduled to have a consultation with a psychiatrist to get tested for adhd this coming Tuesday. My best advice for you.. go with your gut. If you feel that that is the explanation to your behavior you may be right. I was never told in school I may have it but now as an adult I have people around me noticing symptoms. It never hurts to find out for certain, and it may finally give you clarity to years long problems. Best of luck ❤️

Thanks for this really clear explanation! I can relate to the inattentive type to some degree, but have never been diagnosed. If I do have it, I've been overcompensating my whole life so it's hard to pinpoint (people pleaser here!). If I don't have it, I've just really struggled with disorganization ("squirrel brain") all through my life (I'm 36 now). I also know it's supposedly harder to diagnose in women. I'm going to bring it up to my doc and we'll see what happens.

It is really frustrating to me the amount of people who claim to have ADHD these days, I think it is majorly misdiagnosed. A lot of the people who tell me they have it, I don’t see symptoms of either. Or they’re just describing normal things all humans struggle with. I got diagnosed when I was 8 because I have the hyperactive impulsive type. It was very obvious something was different about me than other students. I was constantly getting in trouble. Living with severe ADHD is really really hard and it affects so much of your life, that’s why it’s frustrating people claim to know the struggle when they really don’t.

As I understand it all subtypes can exhibit the same symptoms, it's just a matter of what side you gravitate towards when given the option. If you force a person with hyperactive and impulsive type ADHD to sit still they will start to exhibit inattentive symptoms and if you were to force a person with primarily inattentive adhd to move around a lot their mind would probably feel calmer. Also contrary to what this video implied the rarest subtype is primarily hyperactive ADHD

I was diagnosed with ADHD awhile back but after around a year they said I now had ADD and I was confused. I still had all the things I had with ADHD but half of it moved to my head, or thats how I explain it. I guess I have a mix lol. But some people think I also have autism, I'm not sure about that, but me and my bf act almost the same and he has autism. I have sensory issues and had them since I was little. I always refused to wear or even touch sertian things. I would always complain about clothes and textures. I also couldn't sit still, one of my classmates in 2nd grade had special stuff bc of his ADHD, and I would always ask if i would use one of his fidgets. I did move but it was more suttle than other people with ADHD. When I got older I learned that when I move I brought others attention, I would constantly talk and interupt people. I hated it and others did too, but it was like I couldn't control it. When I heard something interesting I felt like I needed a say. For that reason lots of people started hating on me. By then I would lose focus almost every class and never pay attention, I would have to be reminded things a lot and always remember last minute. By this time I was diagnosed but people still didnt like the fact that i kept randomly rased my volume or talk so quiet no one herd, or other symptoms. I excepted that I did have ADHD and found ways to help myself not go "crazy". One way is that when I got a computer bag I would put it on my lap, the weight would make it so i didnt have to constantly move, and it would help with the blirting.. Most the time. I would also always spin my pencil on my fingers. I would still zone out and stare into that one kids soul creepily but it helped a bit. I still am terified of crouds and random loud noices, I do get oversimulated and freeze up, but my close friends are always with me to help me out of a tough situation.

Just FYI: the term "ADD" was removed when the DSM-3 (1980) was revised and the DSM-3 R was released in 1987. It doesn't really matter that practitioners and lots of other people still use "ADD" to explain/name primarily-inattentive ADHD. For those of us with combined-type ADHD, though - at least for me - it's really useful to understand that my two "modes" (turned inward and looking very still and silent from the outside vs. bouncing off the walls) are basically different manifestations of the same thing. So in the former case, I look still to other people, but inside my head, my mind is bouncing off the walls. So either way, some part of me is bouncing off the walls, LOL.

I still use ADD and I'm going to use add for a while because adhd and aDD are still different you keep explaining the same thing that everybody else explains it. Yes, I have some hyper fixation. However, I'm more of the add type and I basically forget everything and I have a friend who's a lot crazier than I was and that friend had ADHD. There was a huge gap Plus it's easier and I don't really care And it just makes sense. They're both ADHD. However, add is just inattentive or more. Inattentive and ADHD is less inattentive and then you got the center of the two basically it's just easier to call it, add and ADHD because saying ADHD inattentiveness is too long so please keep it simple
