Thank you so much for your lesson! I understood everything even if my voiceover was covering your voice at times and it was very annoying! The problem was that someone was texting me and it was someone who believed that my favorite artist wish death upon her fans which isn’t true of course but anyways I told him the truth and he said that even you would say something like this to me so I challenged him because I know you would never do this to anyone so I challenged him and we argued however at some point he called me something in British slang that I did not understand! He googled it but he did not want to tell me the meaning! When I asked what he called me he told me to get lost which again is something I don’t know I guess it’s an idiom if not then it doesn’t make any sense but anyways he said that he basically told me to get lost and ask someone else! So I didn’t want to argue with him anymore but I still don’t know the meaning of that word I was wondering if I could ask you! If that’s too offensive or you don’t have to tell me! It’s OK! I will understand but if you can’t tell me please explain to me because I don’t know what that word means!!!! He called me cant or something like that! He send an audio so I don’t know how to spell it but if you don’t want to tell me the meaning it’s totally fine and I understand however please forgive me for asking! Maybe you could help me but if you can’t help me then it’s fine! I just don’t know the meaning

Hi Lara, I think you're talking about what we call the C-word. I won't write it here because it's often considered the worst word in English. I don't really know why because the meaning isn't so bad. It refers to a... private area. But yes it's best to avoid using it because it sounds very strong and harsh. Although interestingly it's more commonly said in Australia. And it's most offensive in America.

Honestly as an Arabic I find the word "though " easy to pronounce because in our language we have the letter "ذ" who sounds like that

Yes,I really have difficulties getting my tongue around When I pronounce these words: -Throughout, thought, though, through, taught, tough, thorough

"Thorough" is the hardest! In fact, I tend to avoid it because I get so tongue-tied. It's important to understand the difference in meaning though as they are vastly different

Michael my favourite Mate vom Cornwall, pizza is so unhealthy that all Italians died out in 1899. Rubbish. But you can order one at the "drive through", right? =:O)

Not sure how I feel about being called a skinhead, but at least I'm your favourite! haha. Drive through is a good example! (Often called "drive thru" for short). You're driving through the restaurant I suppose.

@@EnglishWithMichael I suspected this misunderstanding and changed it as a precaution. Not meant politically, of course, but purely in relation to the history of the UK. In German, we have the strange term "drive in" for a hamburger restaurant where you can order from your car. Supposedly it's not supposed to be called that in English. That's why I wanted to add a word you mentioned in the sentence.
