For your question in 8:00, it is good to have more info in order to understand where something we learn is actually placed. It like knowing blue parts belong to sky in the puzzle else it becomes memorisation. However when you place to much exceptions and different usecases for let's say something that can occur rarely or only in C level than it brings more confusion than clarification. Imagine all possible movements that are possible with dumbell but you only want to learn proper form for biceps curl... You are doing great but I'm convinced there is no official clarified grammer strategy for new learners of German...

I defer to Middle English. The Canterbury Tales starts with "Whan that Aprill with his shoures soote, the droghte of March hath perced to the roote." From there I get a better grip on how tell them apart.
