Nick, we had our son at 32 weeks. My wife went for a check up on Thursday everything was perfect. Friday she said he stopped moving and she spent most of the day in the hospital. Then we went to a hospital with a NICU and had him Friday night. Within 10 minutes he was coded and had full cpr to be brought back. Then he went into the incubator and we couldn't touch him for more than 2 days. At 4 days we finally got to hold him. Everything in the NICU is hard to explain, but we were there for 21 days before he could come home. If there's anything I can pass on it's I understand just how the best day of your life is also the worst. My son is 7 now. He got through, he's fine. I know I'll never be the same, my wife had PTSD ( literally) and I think there's no other way to describe what you go through with that. The sobriety folks say it best. "One day at a time" there's no other way to handle it all. Prayers for your family. Find someone... Pastor, family member, phycologist... Someone. Don't lock up. It's to heavy to carry alone. (I know you have your family but I know how you still want to be their rock too) I was there. Hell Nick, if you ask me after 7 years I still am. There again it was the best and the worst day of my life.

We missed everyone too... my energy was really low and I didn't want to bleed it out on everyone so I layed low. 5 weeks ago our pup choked on a ball. I got a bunch of bite lacerations from holding his mouth open. We got it and he lived but my hands needed some care. Got some stitches and all but one healed well. Had surgery on the 21st to clean it out. Seems to be healing very well. 1st check up today!!! 🤞 My bodies reaction to the multiple rounds harsh antibiotics has been less than pleasant and last weekend my frustration and fatigue hot the best if me. And I was pissed at myself for even feeling bad all while I was so grateful for the outcome. Lol. Complex creatures we are!! So I was deeply empathizing with you and sending lots of healing energy your way. Very glad we are both feeling better!! Lots of love to you and yours!!! ❤ 🙏 🔥

Those people are amazing. That being said I'm assuming that axe that you're holding that's all wrapped up is for your son. You're going to need to shorten the handle on that thing. I’m truly sorry that the birth of your first child was such a roller coaster. Balancing between making sure mother and son are okay. And that’s a lot you went through. I’m happy you got through it and have your family at home now. I’ll say a prayer today for you and yours. Truly sorry you went through this Nick. Your a great guy and deserve the best. As for raising a kid in this crazy world. Just don’t let them see the crazy until they have to. Let him be a kid for as long as possible. I don’t need to tell you that though. That they both are alive and doing good!!!! It’s God’s will be done and there’s nothing that we can do but pray and love!!!! I tell ya… that was old thing that Buckin did that kinda through me off… the really backwoods guy from Kentucky… Rock of Age’s… was trying to comment and communicate with Buckin about a lady who was dying from Cancer and she was needing to get to treatment and she had had the cancer before so she had already lost her entire savings and she had insurance but as you know they only cover so much… she was in a really bad way and was having a rough time of it… and that’s when the Sunday’s or whatever we’re about collecting for the forge and people were sending several grand on a Sunday to help build a forge and there’s a kind kind woman who doesn’t have the money to pay for the cancer medication and food to eat!!!!! It was extremely upsetting for the guy (the backwoods Kentucky guy) because he didn’t have any more to give to her and he was trying to get her help from anywhere and everywhere that he could!!!! The guy couldn’t explain what was going on with her or something because Buckin basically went kinda crazy on the guy…. ???? So anyway…. The little pucker took a good dump and got that shit out of him!!! Huge!!!! Dump those toxins!!!! I’m freaking praying for you guys buddy!!!!! Dear Lord Jesus Christ…. Lift up Nickie’ and his family !!!!

Wow, just wow. I can honestly say that I understand and can feel your pain in this video. My second and youngest son was born December 16th, 2016. Natural birth at 42 weeks. Interesting because we had several pre term scares along the way. We thought for sure that he was coming at 26 weeks. After week 30, not another scare and ended up 2 weeks late. Anyhow, labor was smooth. However, he didnt cry, remember that. That evening, about 8 hours after birth, my wife thought his color wasn't right. Still very red to purple. They checked his O2 and it was around 72%... Not good. They had to arrange for a transfer to a larger facility. Weather did not allow and things declined. Finally the Larger facility came to us 4 hours away and did what they do... Amazing people and a huge thanks to the Ronald McDonald house for the assistance with lodging. We came home on Christmas eve of 2016. What a huge relief it was. You are a strong Guy just for talking about it. Kids are resilient as heck and I hope all is well now. I hope you get a chance to see this comment, like I was told... You are never alone in this world. You can almost guarantee that at least someone out there is doing the exact same thing you are at any given moment. Thank you for sharing your story.

Really tough. Happy belated birthday to your son. There are some great people in this world my friend. I am just so thankful that all worked out and have been spending as much time as I can just being there. You know what I mean. Put youtube on back-burner for a little bit but gradually getting back to it. Toughest most rewarding year of my life.
