I was a grandma. Then I played a few dumb settings game, got knocked right under 26k, then stopped playing for a few (3?) days, came back, and found my account reset to 16k.

Season reset knocks you down to the bottom of whatever rank you're in. It's very unfortunate if you hover right below GM. Same thing happened to me after playing a handful of goofy settings games.

Earlier I caught the live stream before it finished airing and watched it at 2x speed before it got locked to members only. Finding exploits is kinda my forte' though. Anyways, if you aren't going to show the last two games from the stream It could be cool if you find yourself in a good position to play the fool. If you have a good start, act like a noob with heavy borders early on then start throwing those troops on cap once everyone has cowered away from hitting you. Not a good idea with people like that red or purple player who broke your bonus you for no reason other then to beak you and consequentially got themselves eliminated or botted out after getting nothing done other then making one person in particular weaker and likely loosing a fight latter on that they could have won if they weren't such a prick! Another thing I'd like to see is Europe Advanced progressive capitals with blizzards off. With how many people go for honey pot bonuses it could be nice to see players having to spread out and not dog pile into a noob corner honey pot to beat each other senseless.

EU Caps with no blizzards is something I’d like to try at some point. And maybe I play the fool on stream a time or two, I’m not sure I want to try to dedicate an actually recording session to it but trying it out with some people in chat might be fun.

@@C_money Oh yeah. Maybe just a try if your spawn looks good rather than dedicating a stream to trying to get a clean game of it. No need to go overboard.

I missed half this game yesterday on your stream, glad to see it from the beginning. I said hi in the stream but i think you were busy and its perfectly fine. Good game, would had been a lot harder if blue and or black had been good players.

Does it make a difference how much points i lose depending on which place i got in the end? For example, do i lose more points on rank 6 compared to rank 2?

Yes, it does. The rank gaining/losing is dependent on two main things: placement and the rank of your opponents. The stronger your rank (closer to GM you are) the more likely you are to lose points by not placing first. However, how many points you lose also depends on your opponents. A GM coming in last against 5 beginners will lose a lot, whereas an expert coming in 3rd and only losing to a two GMs may actually gain rank points in that placement.

@@geode_V I think I mentioned in the video but I knew orange couldn’t afford to fight me with the people capped behind him. If he’d continue hitting me white probably would’ve swallowed him earlier.

@@C_money My train of thought would've been to expand to the east and gobble up the +4 and Orient instead and leave Orange on good terms until lategame as they'll be a really easy cardblock. Black probably expands into them anyhow, and you don't have an enemy round 2 that wants to end your game. It worked, but just mitigating a little bit of risk and keeping a potential ally happy a bit longer.

@@geode_VYeah, I saw blue claiming Russia and white making moves in Orient. I think any bit of expansion beyond Dinaric and South Eastern Europe was going to get me into trouble regardless.
