I love Dr. Guidry and use and am satisfied with other products from him. This video shows the protein shake mixing with almond milk but the information says almonds are bad and full of lectins. Please explain. Thank you for all the information, I learn so much and am grateful.

@@stargazer5073 . The thing dr. Gundry objects to is the protein much more than the fat Some people would have drastic bad reactions to all kinds of vegetables have to eat carnivore to avoid being sick example Mikhaila Peterson and Jordan Peterson. I’m big on organic Caesar salad. Bought a salad spinner. Clean spin chop. Enough for 5-6 salads. Quick dressing in processor primal kitchen avocado mayo, lemon juice, garlic, Parmesan, lots of olive oil, Dijon, slash Worcestershire. Make crackers for croutons with almond flour, Parmesan and hot water. Love the crunch. I also take mixed organic greens, ice, water, fermented beet powder in blender. Make enough for 3-4 servings.

My usual lunchtime salad, because I must cook a dinner for the rest of the household: Spinach, leaf lettuce, red cabbage, avocado, marinated artichoke hearts, any leftover cooked vegetables, and a generous sprinkling of nutritional yeast (giving it a cheesy flavor with added protein), with either oil/vinegar or Goddess dressing. Western medicine hardly recognizes the spleen, but it is an important part of digestion in chinese medicine theory. It is spleen/pancreas and is involved in blood production, circulation, water retention, and cellulite … according to chinese medicine the spleen is damaged by sweet, goohey foods, too frequent eating and worry or stress.

Hey Dr. G! Big fan; I have a couple of questions though. Since you’re doing so well by eating one meal a day, I would like to try it too. But, everything I’ve been told about nutrition leads me to believe that there is no way I can get an adequate amount of daily nutrients and calories while eating just one meal a day. So, my question is: Do you concern yourself with meeting a calorie threshold with each of these standalone dinners? Plus, would I be able to have the stamina to perform well at the gym and the potential to build muscle while only eating one meal a day? Thanks!

Eating salads might help your skin issues. Also you can try getting the box or bag of mixed greens, where it’s all ready for you. A good quality extra virgin olive oil with either red wine vinegar or balsamic (a sweeter vinegar) is delicious. Napa Valley makes an inexpensive but very good quality balsamic vinegar. Salt & pepper, toss & taste. Use twice the amount of oil as vinegar, until you find the balance you like. Also grated Parmigiana is a nice addition. Leafy greens are extremely important for a healthy diet.

Thank you for your informative posts. Sometime, could you talk about oxalates and how some of us are sensitive to them - maybe from taking antibiotics. I've been looking for an oxalobacter kind of probiotic.

Hi Dr. Gundry, I'm diabetic & have lost a lot of weight due to Hyperglycemia; my doctor tells me to take more insulin but that's not working. Sometimes I feel I'm about to die because my glucose level is up & down & II don't know what to eat. I have been eating less starchy good, which seems to be helping. What else can you recommend? I used to weigh 118 lbs. but I now weigh 107 lbs. I don't want to loose anymore.

Is there a complete list of resistant starches? I’m not familiar with any of the ones mentioned 😮 Trying to get healthy. I already use Dr. Gundry’s Total Restore and 24 Strain probiotics. In fact, if I run out before next shipment arrives, I can feel the difference immediately. I just ordered Proplant Complete Shake, to use as a meal replacement (thinking breakfast or lunch)?? All this information is too overwhelming and I can’t afford every supplement, even if they’re good for you. Can you recommend one of your plans or books I can reference that can explain it all? I get so overwhelmed that I give up. I’m really serious about improving my health this time before it’s too late. Thank you!

And along with olive oil for dressing - how about a little balsamic and a very, very, very very tiny amount of soy sauce. Or brags. I love soy sauce in my salad and sprinkle a little nutritional yeast on that baby as well.

I wanted to know if what you just recommended would work for my young adult sons, who lift weights and work out, and eat much larger portions of meat and eggs etc. They say that’s what muscle building needs, and I have no clue, if they’re right or wrong. One of them does IF too. However their meat portions make me think🧐And we couldn’t afford grass fed meats, not large quantities like our family size needs! So please advise.

Can I eat leafy greens and take a beta blocker for AFib? I'm 59 and have had Lyme disease for the last 18 years. I was treated with alternative solutions and was able to get off of all supplements five years ago. I have bone loss in my mouth which led to teeth extraction. (A slow 2year process due to my health. In December 2022 I woke up at 1:30 a.m. heart beating at 150. A trip to the ER and a two-day stay in the hospital diagnosed with afib and put on 25 mg of metoprolol. I now only have to take 12.5 mg a day. With Lyme disease that comes with heart palpitations. So I would have this part racing episode about twice a year.

If I don’t eat breakfast I get low blood sugar. I get oozy and lightheaded. I’m 56 now, but in college I blacked out. I was still conscious, but I couldn’t see. My eyes were open, but I couldn’t see. It was scary for me and those around me. Those around me said my face was very pale. The doctor told me to eat when I’m hungry.
