Great video, as always. Just want to ask about the seaweed digestion aspect. I found a French microbiology research team published article ( in the scientific journal Nature ) its states that while "only Japanese people have the intestinal bacterium Bacteroides plebeius, which has the enzyme to break down porphyran polysaccharides," and "only Japanese people can digest raw seaweed"......this does not account for cooked seaweed?

At least, this more sensible video than some other ones by this "expert". However, the statement he wrote in comments "Unfortunately, we can not comment on other formulas/brands that we are not affiliated with... Makes me doubt some of the information. which should be unbiased and not affiliated with any organization or body.

Aren't all canned beans processed via pressure canning?
@GundryMDYT
@GundryMDYT 11 сағат бұрын
They are not! Dr. Gundry recommends pressure cooking beans even if they're canned except for Eden and Jovial brand beans- which pressure cook their products. Thank you!

I have just started a Keto diet, and every artificial sweetener that I have tried gives me nausea and raging headaches. The aftertaste is a nightmare-even in baked goods! Monk fruit seems okay so far, and I ordered some Allulose. Stevia has a nasty aftertaste, and Saccharin has always made me sickest.

It would help if you would send something about how often and how much to take with each product when you ship them.

Hello, Kevin! We apologize for any difficulty you experienced in locating that information. You can find the directions on the back of the bottle. For Bio Complete 3, we recommend taking 2 capsules daily with water, ideally before a meal. Usage information for all our products can also be found on our website at gundrymd.com. We hope this helps! If you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to reach out.

@GundryMDYT
@GundryMDYT Күн бұрын
Hello! Natural flavors are typically regarded as safe for the majority of individuals; however, this can vary based on your unique dietary choices and any allergies you might have. If you have concerns, we suggest reviewing the ingredient list and consulting with your healthcare provider. If you experience any allergies or sensitivities, it’s wise to prioritize caution. Feel free to reach out if you have any further questions!

@GundryMDYT Күн бұрын
That sounds like a fantastic idea! Each have unique health benefits and flavors that would make for an interesting episode. We could explore the nutritional advantages of each ingredient, share some delicious recipes, and discuss whether they truly qualify as "superfoods" or just trendy fads. Thank you for sharing your suggestion, we will pass this on to our development team. We're always looking for ways to engage with our community and create content that resonates with you.

Rye bread falls into the bread category? Or sourdough? All bread?
@GundryMDYT
@GundryMDYT 2 күн бұрын
Great question! Most commercially made sourdough isn't fully fermented - it's made with a fermented starter, but has flour added in after the fact, meaning the fermentation process hasn't had the chance to help neutralize the lectins. We highly suggest avoiding it if possible. Thanks!
