You are totally correct. I once met the richest person in my state at a charity event. Neither I nor the people I was with knew who he was till we were told by the organizer and we looked him up on google. He had no bodyguards around him. He had no one trying to continuously snap photo's of him. Was basically just a person there giving a lot of money to a charity and not doing so for a photo opp or for instagram followers. He is worth many times what Kylie Jenner or Kim Kardashian is worth yet he does not have to worry about going out for dinner and being noticed and harassed every step he takes outside his house. He could walk into pretty much any place around and not be recognized by anyone who has not had some form of contact with him for some business or charity reason. That sounds a thousand times better than being famous and having to worry about how you look every time you leave the house because a bad photo of you could look bad and cost you followers etc. You still get the best things in life money can buy..... without people bothering you about it.

To follow the instruction one must understand what a white bear is. Our thoughts must derive a white bear in the mind in order to “avoid” it. Therefore, it’s impossible not by will but by mind processes we use to make since of the world and instructions given. Relational Frame Theory only applies to instant thoughts, while reverse psychology applies to action. All the other examples are spot on. Thank you for what you do. Arran’s uniquely bizarre obsession with adding fart sounds anywhere he can get them in (like any time any foods are mentioned, apparently) suggests that rather than finding flatulence and its attendant sensations to be the disgusting sort of thing that other KZbinrs avoid unnecessarily subjecting their viewership to in case they might be eating and the memories it resurrects might put them off their pints, Arran has conversely at least from outward appearances had a very positive experience with it, which in combination with his otherwise dapper dandy self brings to mind James Joyce who despite his intellectual refinement had a notorious self-admitted “addiction” to huffing women’s farts💨😵💫

Am I the only one here who would absolutely adore being world famous? I remember when I was young my dad tried to tell me that being famous was awful because everywhere you go, people recognize you, swarm you, harass you, and try to take pictures of you. People are constantly trying to get onto your property, go through your garbage, and even something as simple as going to the store turns into an event as mobs of people recognize and surround you. He told me this as if it were a bad thing, but all I could think was "how can I make that my reality?" I honestly, truly believe that I would NEVER get tired of being recognized, followed and hounded everywhere I went. Would it get annoying sometimes? Sure. But knowing that you're one of the very, very, very, very few people lucky enough to be adored by so many people, to have done something that touched the lives of so many would make it well worth the "cost" of being adored. But that's me.

He pronounces th as f. It's a very common thing. Annoyingly, and despite the constant attempts to get her to speak clearly, one of my (now adult) kids does the same. She was also the only one of the 4 who didn't need braces to straighten her teeth, so it's not like she has a physical "disability". She's also very intelligent (got a very good BSc degree in mixed science and humanities subjects - the science being medicine. She's considering whether to go to med school or just back to uni to get a PhD in medical research like her biochemist brother [edit: not meant as a brag, just trying to illustrate her very determined mindset. She also is often determined to do what her big bro does lol]), has had a wide vocabulary since she was a toddler and works hard, so it's got nothing to do with lack of intellect or laziness. Being an English grad, I would get v annoyed when she said f instead of th, but I eventually had to accept that she just can't say it. But like her, a much larger proportion of English speakers (I don't know if it spreads into other languages) than most people recognise, have a greater or lesser ability to say it: ie some can say th properly when it appears in certain parts of a word whereas others can't pronounce it at all. I'd say he has the greater ability to pronounce it, but like most others, it's at the start of the word that he's more likely to not quite get it right. Naming his channel as he did turned out to be a very inspired move IMHO.
