I really don't understand incels, like the (at least 2) dudes in this comments chain. Despite all the "Edge Lord"-rhetoric and demeaning women as "sluts", it's startlingly transparent how wounded and vulnerable you are yourselves. It's weird. The girl in this story hardly sounds like a "slut". I don't even see anything that marks her as particularly "dumb" as someone else suggested. She was just young and vulnerable herself. And she had the awful fortune to get involved with a spineless scumbag (the way he spoke to her father on the phone was despicable) who happened to be married to a worldclass hysteric. The girl is innocent.

Ok Sydney called her at almost 2 in the morning to tell her he left his wife?? When you call someone at that hour there is only one thing you're looking for. I dont believe he left his wife at all.. he just wanted to sleep with her and she was missing him and went and met up with him and things took a turn for the worst. That's my opinion though.
@meganlankford2145 жыл бұрын
My mom was on the original jury for Sydney's trial. He's definitely guilty, the only reason they couldn't convict him the first time was because one of the jurors was friends with Sydney's lawyer.
@technicolorrose55495 жыл бұрын
I kinda think, since supposedly Tammy and Sydney were caught having sex in their truck around the time Heather went missing. This is what I think. I agree with half your theory that he called her and made.her think he left Tammy (with as crazy as that woman seems it looks like he wouldn't have been ABLE to leave her, & I don't know what's up with that she must have something on him)....& (Not trying to say I disagree with you:) this is just MO)....but I think that Tammy came up with a scheme because she couldn't move past the fact that he has cheated but didn't want to let him go. I think she cooked it up and had Heather come meet Sydney.....but it wasn't to "talk and because he missed her"....it was so Tammy could get her hands on Heather. Tammy could've encouraged Sydney to hurt her as well. I just don't believe that Sydney called her on his own. And there is too much circumstantial evidence that shows that Syndney AND Tammy were involved. This is so sad. Because I really don't think Heather started dating this guy because she wanted to break up a marriage....I think she just fell hard for him and we can't always chose who we have feelings for. Just unfortunate that she was young and maybe a little naive (I know I was at her age) & Sydney was likely feeding her so much bullshit he was up to his eyeballs in it. But it's sad because she was just getting her life back and getting over a broken heart and then someone that can't just either get over it or let their other half go(Tammy)....let their jealousy and rage overpower them to the point they likely had a major part in ending a young girls life. It hurts me so bad anytime I see a parent who has a missing child and they are so desperate for answers and you can see their pain but instead they are just stuck in limbo. My heart goes out to her family and friends. I cannot imagine.

Perhaps the event played out for just that reason and I for one am grateful. When my first husband cheated on me yes I was angry and upset but more with him than anything so I divorced. The other woman who probably thought she won herself some kind of prize and married him soon after, had a slew of children and got cheated on constantly, until she had enough 12 years later and finally divorced him too. Now she struggles alone. I thank God and her for showing his true colors early enough for me to get out in time to save years of my life to the torment she went through.

@@lcjones0519 Honestly if her husband was cheating she should've wished him well and moved on. Why stay w/ a man that wants another woman?
@noeyprinze5 жыл бұрын
Young ladies should stay away from married men. Some women will fight for their cheating husband and save their crappy marriage UPDATE: I’m aware that it takes 2 to tango but I’m just referring to the young ladies that go with it instead of turning away. Married people to should stay faithful but not many do. In most cases, it’s older married men looking into younger women- those are the ones I’m referring to.

Personally I think when she went to Peach tree landing is where she met trouble. Sidney and Tammy scares me no one deserves to have been threatened like that especially at a young age as Heather was. Lonnie Ryland: God bless you for sharing such excellent, sagacious advice. For sure, everyone should extremely wary so as not to be fatally duped by an other, or others one thinks and believes is/are benign. Obviously, the risk is way, way too high. Love (or seeming love), is great but winding up murdered because of a well-meaning state of blindness is beyond a nightmare. Not to be a fear monger but adults of all ages and genders should be acutely aware this sort of horror could be their own fate if they allow their good-heartedness to take completely over. When this occurs, all logic and commonsense go sailing clear out the window. It's important to note, it's not merely the young who fall prey to such twisted, dangerous, deadly (falsely charming, smarmy), individuals - it can and does happen to all sorts of folks from all demographic groups. Thanks again, Lonnie for the reminder to be safe, stay safe - to never put one's brain in park. R.I.P. Heather Elvis. God bless you, your family, and friends. Respectfully, Quincy's Law

The scary truth is that it's human nature. It's been happening since the beginning of time and will continue until the end. Society frowns on a lot of human nature in order to have a very fragile social structure, but it doesn't change the raw nature of the animal.

I know that this stuff isn't exactly logical but a younger prettier girl is a real threat to a wife if she doesn't have anything else going for her. Kill the (scumbag) husband and she doesn't even have him. This is why we have matrimony and monogamy as an ideal.

You would of thought she’d come to her sense after being away from him but her heart was just too encaged by him! She really didn’t deserve that faith. I feel sorry for her and her whole family. I really hope they suffer greatly for what they did to this poor girl. People usually get their heart broken but she got her life taken!😔

@Fuhq Boi she is giving one of the best advices bc the woman of the cheater would be giving herself respect by not putting up with his bs and unless she KNOWS the Chic he's doing then what reason or problem would she have with her? Her husband is most likely telling her that he's single or divorced so maybe you should go get an education about healthy self love. That would be completely stupid to take it out on the girl he's cheating with. Her relationship is with him not her Dumbo.lol.
