I always kinda felt that superbowl was handed to the Cheatriots. Being that they are based of the Soliders from the revolutionary war era. With 9/11 sadly gripping out country. The NFL felt that with the iconography the Patriots have, them winning the Super Bowl would somehow be a good look. I’m probably way off of base here. Just my thought on that specific season. I myself hate the Raiders, but they were the better team that day.

The Superdome’s power didn’t completely shut down for the Raven’s win over the 49ers in the Super Bowl. Just half of the stadium lost electricity. This was due to a wider blackout going on in downtown New Orleans. However it was enough to take out the cameras capturing the actual field (it also knocked out the scoreboards iirc). That’s why the game was delayed. The sideline cameras and actual broadcasting center that sent the signal to the station were unaffected because they were either powered by batteries or connected to the New Orleans power grid that was still online. That’s why we have official footage of the event from the live broadcast. As far as I’m aware, the Superdome has since been connected to a single grid instead of half-and-half. So if that grid goes out during a game everything is screwed 😅

These aren’t even conspiracies/iceberg type subjects. Most of the subjects you covered got countless amounts of media coverage. Great video, but I think you got the concept of an iceberg mixed up.

Entrees near the top are more known, less serious or "dark" actions as icebergs go. As you get towards the bottom, there's some more disturbing, or just really unknown stuff that you would hard pressed to have heard of. Of course, those who spend a lot of time online and looking around football things and chatrooms and boards, (as I do) likely could have seen most of these.

@@hydn. you don’t have to look too far to find the details on most of these subjects. Tbh only the super old ones are the ones I didn’t know about and I’ve only been into football for a few years. Never been on a blog, or in a chat room. Most icebergs cover conspiracies and the super unknown but I guess there aren’t that many deep unknowns in the nfl? But yes all the things you covered got darker and darker, but they were still somewhat headline making stories.

ahh, if you are confused why I did not cover the unknown/conspiracies theory's much, it is because I am saving them for another iceberg of strictly sports conspiracies. I believe I mentioned that quickly in one of my iceberg videos, as I didn't do much conspiracies for any sport on purpose :)

But yes, Hardy was pulled after Week 1 of the 2014 Season wth Carolina in loom of the charges. I brought up his Cowboy stint to push the old "Cowboy Criminal's" narrative :)

A most fascinating and truly informative journey into the dark history of the NFL. When I was a kid, what Adrian Peterson did was called spanking also known as discipline. And I will guarantee you that his kid learned his lesson and probably did not misbehave too much after that. This video forgot to mention the extremely unjust 6 game suspension of Cowboy running back Ezekiel Elliot on “alleged” incidents where any and all charges were dropped and he never was arrested or had to go to court, yet Elliot received a much longer suspension than some of the other players on this NFL iceberg list. And also the fact that the current NFL commissioner, Roger Goodall is an absolutely atrocious, thoroughly inept , truly incompetent and a gutless wonder when it comes to leading the NFL caving into political correctness, woke politics, the so called me too movement and don’t get me started on the Covid 19 pandemic issues. I f you dig deep enough then you just might find another smaller NFL iceberg.
