This is something that everyone standing up for them and excusing their actions don't understand. Jeffree literally did the same thing to Dhavie years ago; threatening to expose him for his disgusting actions against children but when he saw that he could make money off of collabing with him still, he took back everything he said, even calling Dhavie a "brother." Regardless if Jeffree was right in either situation, his reasons behind both times weren't to help/protect the victims, but to benefit himself. Edit: I just remembered something; Jeffree made a tweet in support of James last year and acted like everything back in 2019 didn't happen. This was quickly brushed over and everybody just forgot about it. Exact same thing as the Dhavie situation.

Well, people can change. I was making similar (not quite as extreme, but same vein) jokes as Shane did for years. I don't know about Shane, but for me it was related to trauma and wanting shock laughs for attention while never thinking too hard about how gross and offensive my "jokes" actually were. I'm not trying to defend Shane though. I have changed and continue to change because I'm taking actual responsibility for my behaviours, have been in and continue to work through therapy, and have absolutely zero intention of working in the entertainment industry because I know I can't do so responsibly. If Shane wants to change, he would have to start by giving up forever on everything he's tried to build, and just get a job somewhere away from people. And even then, I don't know if Shane could ever be forgiven. Best he could probably hope for is to be forgotten.

It can be a huge detriment to a channel when you have a specific video or type of video blow up and the feeling that you will never surpass that hype again, in addition to the fact that he didn’t want to be seen as a James supporter because a big part of the video was orientated around Shane and Jeffries orchestrated plot against James, so didn’t want him framed as the victim.

Something I always thought was strange was that after Tati's first video, James and his friends still used the phrase "I'm so famous" to say "I did a good job" or whatever. Tati specifically mentioned that was an issue and even after James explained, it would be so easy to misunderstand that phrase if you hadn't been following him as closely as I have this past few years. People need to realize that personal life and business life are separate. You can hate someone as a person and still be entertained by them. I don't like shane as a person, but I do wish he would come back, simply because his content entertained me.

If you are still entretained by him, watch his previous content, but havin him comeback after he hurted so many pople in REAL LIFE is not right, just because you find him entertaining is not enough of a reason to letting him be back, is selfish for you to think like that, think of the many people that he hurted and them havin to see him keep his platform like nothing happened. If you think like that then James should just keep his platform as if he didn't commited a crime because he is "entertaining", that's not a good reason. Personal life and busness life doesn't have anything to do with this, if he hurted someone because of business, is still defines him as a person.

I haven't heard a single thing about their vindication before this video and I will never ever forgive them for the way they acted before, even if it only affected me "just" online. Parasocial relationships exist. I never liked Jeffree but Shane fooled me for a few years, even though I'm one of the "lucky" ones who didn't grow up with his videos. I knew about his past but his friends, mainly Drew, Garrett and Andrew drew me to his videos and I'm glad I learned about them but I feel so ashamed of watching his videos and liking those... It is literally breaking my heart. Just because the person they talked about is actually problematic doesn't mean they aren't either. All of them won't get any clicks or attention from me. Nowadays, seeing Shane's, Jeffree's and James' faces just makes me furious.

Tati was pretty unproblematic before she got mixed up with Jeffree and Shane, so I feel like she had to have seen something really messed up with James to have made that video. Jeffree 100% took advantage of her being pissed about vitamins, but I think he wouldn’t have been able to manipulate her like that without James exposing his own problematic behavior.

@@anastasiap6253 totally agree that this wasn’t 100% a selfless video, but I’m just thinking that Jeffree wouldn’t have been able to convince her if James hadn’t been problematic in the first place. She was already mad about the vitamins, so it probably wasn’t hard to Jeffree to keep talking about it in order to really piss her off and then her concerns about James’s behavior was just the last straw.

I don’t think the Tati allegations were lies and she never said they were. She said that she only got a snippet of the story. She always stood by what she said. She just said it wasn’t her story to tell and that she only heard one side of an audio file. She felt like Jeffree might have falsified the “evidence,” however it doesn’t mean it didn’t happen. Show me a clip of ANYONE saying it wasn’t true. 👀

I am an elementary school teacher and honestly some of the drama and allegations feel like drama within my students. With the tati situation, more specifically her first video, some of the things said in her video could have been said directly to James rather than put out to the public. In terms of the manipulation, I understand that some people can be easily manipulated, but the one thing that bothers me the most is that there was no proof to anything that she had said it both in the first and in her other apology video for "legal reasons."

In one of Shane's videos with Jeffree, they were talking about how Jefree lost all of his friends because of his money or whatever. When I first met him, one of my abusive "exes"/ ex friend told me he, "lost all of his friends" and made up excuses that made him seem like the victim. This person (my ex friend) always makes himself the victim and continues to bully people. Seems like a thing these kinds of people do. If someone is saying they are losing all their friends, they may just be unlucky or underappreciated but it's also a red flag to take into consideration tbh. Also another things these kinds of people do is garner pity by saying "oh I'm such a bad person, everyone leaves me, I'm unlovable, you dont want to be around me 🥺👉👈"

I don’t understand why platforms refuse to get involved. They demonetised Shane’s channels for about six months, but they are now monetised again, so what was the point? If someone is committed of a crime, terminate the channel. If someone has had multiple allegations, freeze their channel until the situation is resolved. They should be taking responsibility for the fact that predators use their platforms to find more victims to abuse and by doing nothing, they are part of the problem!
