Theory: Only 3 volumes of the 16 Accords of Madness are available, because the other volumes don't exists. It is only called "16 Accords", because Sheogorath is trying to drive Hermaeus Mora mad in a fruitless hunt for the other 13 volumes.

Words really can't describe the emotion I feel when there's a new Drewmora video. This channel has honestly helped me in ways I didn't think imagine and through things I never knew I needed help with. Maybe I'm overdramatic, I can be at times. But the writing, along with the visuals and soothing voice just do something for me and honestly I've rarely found the same quality of KZbin videos aside from here. Not to mention how much this channel has revolutionised TES lore, Drewmora doesn't repeat the same storylines over and over like the other channels but he adds the things that hardcore fans of the series should know. I will always love this channel and I hope nothing happens to take that away from me. Please keep up the good work.

I never did grasp the implication of deafening silence until I read that fable of Sheogorath and Vaermina's contest. I am grateful that Sheo gives us many of the more colorful, unsaturated elements of Elder Scrolls lore through one medium or another. The fight between Hircine's beast and Sheogorath's bird is one of my all-time favorites in ESO lore. I think there's another lesson hudden in there as well - the bird represents madness and self-destructive impulses, those itches that you must scratch no matter what. While you can be powerful and indomitable, you can never be saved from yourself or your own madness.

I've watched this a couple times, and I have to admit, whoever wrote Sheo's lines here did a pretty good job. Interpretation: The Tribunal's greatest enemy, second to only Dagoth Ur, is Sheogorath of the House of Troubles. Sheogorath tests the Dunmer by probing them for mental weakness and by tempting them into treachery. The Tribunal has failed both tests. Mental weaknesses have taken a toll as Almalexia is delusional, Sotha Sil is depressed, and Vivic suffers from numerous personality disorders and mental illnesses. The three were also tempted into treachery by a lust for power. This resulted in the murder of their husband, their friend, and their king. After losing her power, Almalexia, in her madness, goes further by murdering Sotha Sil and sending fabricants to attack the Dunmer people. Vivic himself does the greatest betrayal in Dunmer history by allowing Baar Dau, the celestial rock sent by Sheogorath, to fall into Morrowind and trigger the devastation of the Red Year.

@badluck56479 ай бұрын
@@ronnychristenjoyer6778 I'm not sure if sociopathy is a form of madness by Sheogorath's standards, but Vivec's willingness to destroy the Dunmer just because he no longer has the power to rule them is probably one of most evil events in the Tamriel's history. He could have removed Baar Dau at any time, but he chose not to.
@ronnychristenjoyer67789 ай бұрын
@@badluck5647Yes, it's pretty sociopathic I agree. But Sheogorath has no love for the Dunmer, he would have gladly annihilated every single Dunmer without batting an eye if it wasn't for Vivecs intervention. And Azura turned Chimer into Dunmer and basically doomed all of Morrowind because her favorite worshiper Nerevar got killed. She felt insulted by the Almsivi and decided to murder all of Morrowind for it. Given the craziness, Vivec is problably the least crazy.

I would love a story about Sheogorath and Vivec, because Vivec is incredibly mentally ill. Vivec's madness: *Vivec obviously feels guilt as he hides secret confessions in Lessons, and he forces his loyal soldiers to wear the face of his murdered friend. *Vivec's identify issues are extreme where he tries to be all things, "every race, every gender, every hero, both divine and finite." *Vivec's daddy issues are also extreme. He denies even having a father in his lessons and murder the Nerevar, the father-figure in his life. The most extreme sign of Vivec's daddy issues is his abusive, romantic relationship with Molag Mal. *His narcissism helped him achieve Chim. His ego also brings him to the justification that the Dunmer are better off killed by Baar Dur than to not have him as their god.
