The Dive Shop (Ep. 26) Saying Goodbye to An Old Friend, and Welcoming New Ones to Deefer Diving.

Welcome to Deefer Diving's new KZbin channel, D for Diving.
This week has been an emotional roller-coater for us at The Dive Shop. We said goodbye to one of our good friends, dive characters and interns, Mark as we went back to the UK, via the Bahamas! We miss him already! But we were able to welcome new Divemaster trainee Emily. She's arrived from the UK keen to embark on her own diving career and chose Carriacou as the perfect place to come and learn...
Talking of learning, as well as doing dive mastery stuff, we also got the chance the take Emily and Fred through the Wreck and Deep diver specialties. Jonny was keen to learn more about these course options and wanted to talk through his experience of WHY its a good idea to join a dive crew to experience these special forms of diving... (apologise for the poor sound quality.... Audio taken on an iPhone and they're just not good enough)
Gary also took some time out to talk to us about improving air consumption in as little as 5 dives. He's prepared a separate video with 5 top tips on things a newer dive can do NOW. All very practical and all very easy, and there are many instructors who would be able to help you with this too. Check out the video in the link below.

now that I've watched this again Jonny 1:22 with hair - so funny for all you prospective or experienced divers out there wondering where to experience some top diving, fun diving, internships or just chilling out check this team out. Whether you are old like me or young (like me) you will be embraced by a phenonemal group of people who provide a safe environment for all and let you into their lives and share their laughs and joy. In parallel with this they are blessed with living on an amazing island and are some of the most skilful and knowledagble divers I have met. Deefer is the place to learn to dive, or Dive Master or just fun dive and I guarantee, you will also make special friends, for life... I will see ya all again....
