In the last few minutes of this lecture Shri Sarvapriya gives us a rare glimps of the higher authentic siddhanta of Advaita Vedanta. Even Shankara speaks of it only rarely, more often giving prominence to the propedeutic teachings that leads up to it. One such rare passage can be found in the introduction to the second chapter of the Aitareya Upanishad Bhashya. In the typical binaries like existence/non-existens, self/non-self, conscious/unconscious, one/many etc we are used to the acceptance of the one, and abandonement of the other, but here the Acharya abandons both: अस्ति नास्ति, एकं नाना, गुणवदगुणं, जानाति न जानाति, क्रियावदक्रियं, फलवदफलं, सबीजं निर्बीजं, सुखं दुःखं, मध्यममध्यं, शून्यमशून्यं, परोऽहमन्य इति वा सर्ववाक्प्रत्ययागोचरे स्वरूपे यो विकल्पयितुमिच्छति स नूनं खमपि चर्मवद्वेष्टयितुमिच्छति .... नेति नेति, यतो वाचो निवर्तन्त, इत्यादिश्रुतिभ्यः। (See Gambhirananda, Eight Upanishads vol. Besides, have I ever debrred anyone from cross checking the veracity or otherwise of it ! I do hereby declare with all vehemence at my command that the above quote pertains to the great Swami Vivekanandji and certainly to no one else, as claimed by someone, vide one's comment, herein above ! I do hereby challenge someone to master the necessary courage/guts to file a formal complaint to the competent authority about misrepresentation of facts, immediately, if one harbours any genuine apprehension to this effect ; provided, ofcourse, someone is not otherwise a coward ! How right was William Shakespeare in his assessment in saying - "Cowards die many times before their death ; but the valiants never taste of death but once !
