SR-1 with determined, chainkiller, ninjabike backpack, 3p hotshot, 1p habsberg, all HSD. Decoy and restorer hive. :)

Nice one! Damage-wise an Airaldi (+400k) or Habsburg (+???k don't have one... ) backpack with Vigilance hits harder - especially for the first important shot. Unless you get hit first of course... but Ninjabike (+ e.g. Habsburg knees) offers little more armor and a skill tier, and damage is not relying on not getting hit... So for pure damage I'd say do not go Ninjabike. I'll try it out now though :)

It's a tradeoff - I'll play around with it some more but I think you just don't need the extra little bit that vigil gives you. With ninja you can still maintain a high damage that isnt conditional, as well as getting whatever utility that you want (AOK, regen, repair skills, etc). Regardless, play your way boss :)

Absolutely depends on context and how much damage you need (more in 4 man groups). I'm a fan of "just enough" and little to no overkill. W&H is good for NBB builds since the 2p is DtA and that goes into HH calc. But so are Aces and Hotshot and araldi and habsburg. They don't make up for the bag talent however. Momento is also a strong choice- 2 free red cores in the buff plus it's natural 3. And it doesn't go away on hit. I hate stacking it and living on a timer but even if you don't play inti the short term trophies, 1 token every 5min is easy to pick up.

@@grumpyoldman6503absolutely, didn't mean to say "this is bad" or anything - on the contrary , since I saw this variant I actually grew to enjoy it very much :) I love that e.g. when using reviver, it is faster + you can revive a teammate AND yourself due to additional skill tier :) Also I did play it in two-player Legendary, works like a charm. In 4-player Legendary I might switch to a better backpack though...

I use Airaldi with Headhunter, Providence backpack with bloodsucker and 4-piece Hotshot, Bloodsucker is amazing with sniper kills because it jumps to the maximum armor immediately and lets you withstand the explosions and flying things that especially target you if you are using cover. White Death of course and for up close and personal I use the Scorpio this backs them up really quick if they get too close, Oh and headshot mods all over the build, mine is at 289 and gives me an average kill at 20 mil. lowest is 9 mil (first shot). Hard to run in a group though. I also use drone and decoy, both distract perfectly.

@@KarlDelaney99 Tried that and my version actually gives me more survivability , since they sense you are working from cover more things fly at you and bombs try to dislodge you , with bloodsucker armor it negates all that . And hardly a difference in damage ,still 20 mil. The balance is better.

@@d15p4tch6 SMGs for one. It allows you to use "2" pieces of hunter's fury, "3" pieces of sokolov while also using a critical hit chance/critical hit damage booster piece of something. You can stack up to 3 sets which would be impossible normally and you can do it for almost any set. You could also do "4" pieces (I'm putting them in quotes because ninjabike gives the final piece) heartbreaker with fenrir or petrov instead to stack whichever gun's damage you want and then same thing, add some critical hit chance or dmg depending on what you're missing.

@@Shademastermcc yeah, but those bonuses are never going to out-damage a damage talent on the backpack, since TWD is multiplicative, and we have good gear set backpacks like Striker and Negotiators

@@d15p4tch6 Right, but strikers or heartbreaker require stacks, the others don't and you get no crowd control from strikers like you do from hunter's fury. It really just depends on what you're going for. Strikers does INSANE dmg yes, there's just always a trade off.

If determined wasnt in the game and exotics were in play, I'd probably be playing dread edict on focus or headhunter build with 4p Hotshot using the bag for open world farming. Its buff is notable and good. It can 1 tap elites at full stacks and a bit of expertise (15 or so). Or maybe mantis (which should have kept the 30% lift). Or some NBB combo build of aces and hotshot. Aces chest is attractive such that you dont need headhunter for solo heroic (like glass cannon without the glass part). You can get over the 1 tap theshold without headhunter now for solo elites pretty trivially. Bag damage comes back into play, esp without headhunter (huge crutch for MMRs, determined isnt the bad guy for all the shit it gets). Usually only the first shot matter with headhunter and then the bag is irrelevant and a wasted slot. You can open with the nemmy or tac50 to get the furst kill and HH stack if your main weapon is too weak unaugmented. Poor G28 and Mk20 got fuck all in TU20. No idea wtf is up with that... absolutely dumpster class across the board. Might as well delete from the game.

Agreed on the Semi-auto mmrs: they need to either: 1. Do as much damage as a bolt action, but with super high recoil or some other balancing, OR 2. Be rifles.

@@d15p4tch6 #2 is the right answer, as they already have #1 anway, which puts them with the worst of all possible worlds. their only advantage is they don't drop scope to rechamber rounds. but they are also typically to week to really leverage that advantage outside of gimmicky shit like reanimated or a hyper red and glassy red build that gets outperformed by bolt action determined hotshot builds.

In regards to Memento stacks, I use that b/p quite a bit; use Castle instead of White House as Castle doesn't lose your stacks. You also don't lose your ammo when using the Pistolero directive. If you travel to the Descent entrance your stash is at the top of the stairs. Just be quick, you only have 5 minutes for Memento stacks 👍

Mantis is a good way 2 learn. Decoy makes guys MUCH easier to hit and resets keep you going. Got a buff too and SRS shoots great.

Why 3p hotshot? Missing out on 20% amp damage and some repairs. Or you could drop down to 2p since 30% HSD isn't that great

@@d15p4tch6 never really felt the benefit of the 4pc. 23mil a shot is more than adequate so hunting for a final ideal piece, the 3pc bonus seemed to be fine.

@@andygreener3130 Just ran the math. 10% MMR damage is definitely less powerful than the 30% HSD. 4p Hot will definitely give you more than that. The real problem is your punch drunk - you can swap that out for airaldi or habs and get more damage. Habs would give you 5% more HSD, airaldi would give you 10% less HSD but 10% more wd, which is even better. Sorry for not doing the math up front!
