Dude even in the little bits of the title of the original video you can see it’s a build all the way back in project resolve. Atleast dunk on a build someone put out recently.

**UPDATE ON MY PREVIOUS COMMENT** After not being able to activate Umbra in DC or NY, fast travelling to an offsite mission (DARPA/Pentagon, Coney, Summit, Manning etc) activates Umbra during combat. After that combat has ended fast travel back to DC (preferably a mission) will still activate Umbra. If you have no luck a simple log out and in will fix the issue 9/10 times and the regen mechanic currently works with the no regen directive although I am unsure if this is a bug or working as intended, but the TechTank variant is now my go to for open world activities with directives. For weapons, I recommend the Lightweight M4 as the ROF buff to the ACR SS is too much for my liking and when the buff ends when using MK17, the low ROF is noticable whereas the LW-M4 is a great balance.

Even tho the SIG has a smaller mag it has very high stability naturally. Add in everything else on handling/stability mods and it should be a high dmg lazer beam

best build is actually hotshot tank build 1,7 million armor with Chainkiller and memento any sniper with determined but I use model 700 and SR-1 you gonna do around 14 - 15 mil damage with no expertise 2 reason player's don't use it. the first bc its a sniper build but bc you have determined you don't need aim headshot all the time only the first one Second reason is bc the build is to easy but you know what they say.. work smarter not harder 😉✌

I gotta try this. I was just testing a spotter/flatline 3pc Zoo, foxes, momento, groupo build, damage numbers with momento stacks, body crits, MDR 1,322,276, Sig 1,602,895, Mk17 1,927,974. Im gonna play with the Hollow man mask now instead of a zoo mask. This umbra would be nice to try too and see the numbers pre and post momento stacks. Wonder how much 1 additional blue core (like the hollow man mask) would drop overall damage.

Should I make some hybrid versions of this build?

The build looks very effective. I haven't had time to dive into theorycrafting builds yet this season. Tbh, my buddy has had me on New World a lot. I've put maybe 6hrs into Shades of Red.

Umbra was always my favorite, I didn't think to use it with rifles because of the Aces change! I myself prefer the backpack, the heal is insane. I don't run shield though. The only thing I'd use instead is Memento. Hollow Man has always been too niche for me, even now with the buff, because chungas/dogs/tanks are rare. Why is Striker+Vigilance more than Striker backpack? Aren't they both TWD and would add together so with the changes be +90% in either case?

Great vid, you could for example if using the Hollow man, also use a second Yaahl piece for the free 10% weapon dmg

Awesome build breakdown. I think i will be doing plenty of Umbra builds. I want to use the memento backpack and eagles grasp with umbra and rifles. I'm also looking forward to try umbra with new exotic holster, new named backpack, thorn and dark winter. I think that build would work pretty good but I'll find out once I get a chance to test it out in game.

Nice build! Thanks D. Completely overlooked Umbra when playing around with high end Rifle builds the last few days so will give this a try, but will likely run it as a TechTank. The Hollowman mask has piqued my interest as 10% hazpro from those shield piercing shock rounds might actually be of use on top of that dmg to health. I've been running with ACR SS, MK17 and Lightweight M4, all having their quirks but I prefer the ease of use of the L-M4. As for talents Flatline but with this build I'm leaning towards preservation (as I run with no regen directive and can't currently recover armour after combat by switching weapons).

Yeah the damage buff for Breaking Point isn't reliable. I actually do like the utility it offers with the free reload on swap. When you tossed the Skill when your rifle was nearly empty, it reloaded it for you. I'm actually enjoying a dual LMW4 breaking point build that just swaps back and forth between rifles with Boomerang. And occasionally I'll have the damage bonus available to use. I do wish they changed the damage buff from on reload to on swap like the utility reload.

If the devs want players to use more than just whatever's meta, I think they'd be better served by reworking some of the gear sets and talents at a more fundamental level than just moving percentage numbers. I want to like some of the gear sets more but as they are they're severely underwhelming. Like True Patriot, at low difficulties things usually die too quickly to get the full flag on them but the bonus aren't enough to keep up with the higher difficulties like heroic (and definitely not legendary). The explosion at the full flag almost never comes into play because the enemies almost always spread out immediately so a 5m explosion is nowhere close to another enemy. For that to work you not only need to catch them at a spawn point before they spread out but manage to fully mark an enemy which takes a minimum of 4.5s if you have the chest piece and 6s if you don't, and then kill that enemy. I want to like TP because it's one of the few gear sets that provides bonuses to team members too but it's not enough. They should probably bump up the bonuses, extend the range of the explosion, and make a better chest talent than just to rotate through the 3 colors faster. Another idea is to make some of the 4 piece gears sets have more team benefit. Like for negotiator's dilemma, mark for the whole team. Maybe only the one who marked the target gets the full effect (60% damage transfer, or the 100% with bp talent) but the rest of the team's critical hits do like some percentage damage transfer. And some of the talents they have are such bologna - who in their right mind is going to waste one of their two gear talents on reassigned. If they want that one to get some love, they gotta rework that into something like on weapon switch (with a cooldown) the sidearm gets 30 rounds of a randomly selected ammo type as if you had looted a special ammo box. If they want to really go crazy with it, do it for primary weapon switch too. Explosive delivery - extend the explosion radius (seriously anything with a 5m range is nearly useless in this game). Make it crazy by putting the explosion on everything deployed (a friend and I tried this on traps thinking it would explode around every deployed trap, but no that would be too awesome, and it was a small explosion right in the center). Really really crazy idea? Allow players to equip two exotic gear pieces at a time to really open up wild builds. Imperial dynasty on its own isn't enough to warrant to take up the one exotic on a build. But being able to combine that with Vile mask ... interesting possibilities.

When combined with leadership you get a huge hunk of bonus armor. Then I use the lady death for the speed buff. This the set up I use for shd exposed and you feel like a straight ninja zipping in and out of cover.

I seriously think he knows people will eat up whatever he puts out because very few people question it. Problem is people actually try to use these builds and can't figure out why they are getting booted from groups.

Dispatch! Question. For the new update coming making some rifles auto, like acr, can you brainstorm a rifle build with passive adequate regen for mediocre players, that can still have a decent time to kill, solo or group. Example, m1a cqb/sig/acr with 3 pc Zoo, Momento (for regen), 1pc Belstone (for regen)? Mix of blue/red or whatever doesn’t mess up TTK vs passive regen? Casual Gamer dad’s on controller appreciate this lol

KVD is just in it for the money now, has no passion. Roguegold, plumconch and nuthinbutskillz are the main channels I support and watch for build ideas

I think Tuxedo Bandido does a great job of labeling his videos as experimental or off meta. To me that is good so players looking for the most optimal builds for high level content get honest guidance. So may content creator's for the divion just label every build as top dps or op.

He was testing the gear set on the PTS. You are the one looking like a clown…he never said this was his recommended build.

I do love your vids I know your not trying to make a video personally attacking KVD but I’m going to respectfully disagree this is not the worst build on YT lol number don’t mean anything if you know how to use a build that works for your playing style and with OVER 105 K Subs he must be doing something right I don’t think there to many Division Content creators doing more for the Division Agent community then KVD and let us not kick someone when they have just almost lost his home and cars from 2 Hurricanes and let’s not forget he is a Veteran who served our country and suffers breathing difficulties because of his honorable service so he will always get my respect not only as a good Division Player and good guy who has not built his channel criticizing other content creators but providing the community with tons of Division updates and informitiveabd entertaining videos 🫡 🇺🇸

I think that the build is useless if any one does not believe this make the build and take it to dz you will be melted at every level

Holy crap Dispatch, it’s amazing how much hate this video has garnered. I think DoD went through this a couple years ago when he made a video critiquing someone’s build. I can’t believe how many people get butt hurt over this crap.
