On the eve of Archbishop Makarios, President of Cyprus, returns there for the first time since his fleeing in July. It is an even which is already casting a shadow over the island. The Coup that ousted him and the subsequent Turkish army entering the island that followed has transformed Greek and Turkish Cypriot Politics. One of the casualties of this political upheaval has been the Cypriot economy.
