Andrew Divoff is so amazing as the djinn. His calm demeanor and stone cold delivery makes the character so perfectly evil. He doesn't intimidate or strong arm other characters to get what he wants. The Gospel, which means the Good News is the news that God Almighty, the Creator came in the flesh as Jesus Christ to take away the sin of the world. The one God is a trinity of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. The Son came and laid down his own life to save ours. His sacrifice on the cross paid the price for our redemption with his own blood. On the third day he rose from dead and offers the gift of salvation and forgiveness to those that repent and trust in him. John 1:1,14 KJV In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and THE WORD WAS GOD. [14] And THE WORD WAS MADE FLESH, and dwelt among us, 1 John 3:8 KJV He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. Isaiah 9:6 KJV For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty GOD, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. John 1:10 He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and THE WORLD KNEW HIM NOT. John 3:18 KJV He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God

The first two Wishmaster movies were actually really great stuff. I didn't see the other couple of movies. I am surprised nobody turned this into a network series yet for the cha-ching and quick loot. The Wishmaster character reminds me of a morbid and Rated-R version of genie antagonist from the Twilight Zone. Great actor playing The Wishmaster, and after all these decades I don't even know his name. I first saw Wishmaster II on Cinemax and eventually bought the DVD with both Wishmaster 1-2 on one disc. I enjoyed these movies.

I was so happy after watching the first one, that there are 4 movies in total. Second one was worse than first, but still good mostly due to the genie actor, and the prison scenes, but 3rd and 4th were unwatchable for me. Gave up on both after some time playing. Not only genie is played by a different actor, but also looks far worse, acts differently and the script in general is just bad. Same with the general production quality. I've read that they have filmed both parts at once, having just a weekend splitting them by and in just few days :D it shows

see heres the interesting thing. The Djinn was so desperate in this moment, he was willing to give the guy a bonafide freebee. Turning that item into gold with diamonds cost the guy NOTHING. No Tricks, no horrible tradeoffs, just simple wealth. Had he given him the address, at this point the djinn would have likely left him be. no wish had been made, the djinn got vastly more worth then the guy did. It was the guys greed that got him into trouble hands down and the djinn was counting on it. He would have left in peace and given him the gold as a thankyou for his own faithlessness towards his fellow man. great moment that shows the exception that proves the rule with his powers.

I am sure those diamonds would turn out to be radioactive , or vase poisoned. Djinn would NEVER just grant your wish.
@Phoenixesper128 күн бұрын
@@sargon0141 I would agree IF he directly wished for it, he didn't. The djinn asked "would you like it to be 100 times more valuable." and he repeated the statement exactly, in the affirmative. Technically he didn't wish for it because of the words "Would I" Where turned his statement to an inquiry. This is pretty well held to throughout the movie as a rule. It must be a declaritive statement for it to be a consequential wish. Give credit to the writers for sticking to their own rules, makes the movies villain more credible.
