Most of what you mentioned here on this video showed on my renewal test yesterday. I got 4 errors out of 25 questions but I passed. We are allowed 5 errors to pass. I wish I saw this video before I took the test, I could have done better. Thanks for this video, I think a lot of people will benefit from this.

How to use a roundabout: 1. Slow down as you approach. 2. Yield to all traffic already in the roundabout. 3. Enter heading to the right when there is a big enough gap in traffic to merge safely. 4. Watch for signs and lane markings that guide you. 5. Travel in a counter-clockwise direction. Do not stop or pass. 6. Signal when you change lanes or exit. 7. If you miss your exit, continue around until you return to your exit. If the roundabout has multiple lanes, choose your entry or exit lane based on your destination. This is shown in the image below. To: 1. Turn right (yellow car): Choose the right lane and exit in the right lane. 2. Go straight (red car): Choose either lane. Exit in the lane you entered. 3. Turn left: Enter and continue driving until you reach the exit in the direction you choose (blue car).

The questions are really easy, for my own test 80% was on pedestrians on the on the crosswalk - if you meet a pedestrian on the the crosswalk who has the right of way ? - during heavy wind conditions how should you drive - when driving in fog wheather which light should you turn on - what is the punishment for evading a law enforcement stop - in which instance can a person below 6 years be left in a car - a question on how to cope when driving and there is sun glare - how do you drive in work construction zones - to turn left from a one way street to a one way street, where do you start - in parking what does a curb painted white mean - then what do you do when approaching a step sign - your approaching a stopped car on a high way with its it emergency flash lights on how do you pass - it is illegal for a person age 21 or above to drive with which BAC - after how many citations would dmv suspen your drivers or driving privileges, the correct answer was 4 months and something within the first year - in a T intersection who has the right of way ? - where is a u turn illegal, correct answer was on the rail way - what is the speed limit in a school zone

You got this! You've done the preparation, now just do your best! Don't overthink the questions, for the most part they are common sense - at least the ones without numbers and amounts. Also look out for keywords like "NOT" or "NEVER" or "ALWAYS" - missing those words when you read a question can drastically change the way you answer. Hope that helps!

I was asked the question about evading police and the time was 7 years. Did that mean manslaughter while evading. I had not seen the 7 years in the handbook so I probably missed this one. The test doesn’t tell you what you missed at the end of the test. I was too nervous to remember what I missed. I passed the test but I was very shaken due to some obscure questions. For instance: How long can you get a suspended license if you have 6 point on your record? I had to search and search to find it in the handbook. Can you add this question to your videos?

Yess I passed it after my 12 try I was there all day again the 3 day all day the line for the paper test is to long because old people and no time limits smh. I was in DMV this week at least 25hours this week and I did it I passed I had to use my time payed of hours and everything paid off!!!

Rumor is a company was hired to make the test more difficult. Obviously there are various versions of the written test for security reasons. I wonder if the person behind the counter decides who gets the most passed, or the most difficult version? 7:45 Hand to Hand = 9/3 or 8/4 Hand over Hand = 8/4 a good tip for a potential trick question. One person post test says study up on DUI limits and punishments for various age levels and persons on DUI probation.

Hey I have a question, so if you don’t want to do the permit test on a touchscreen computer, can you request the DMV to do it in paper? Because my mom told me that they did it on paper back then. So my mom thinks that they don’t do paper anymore. So can you request the DMV to do it on a paper instead?

Yes, you can choose to have a paper version, that's what I did with my renewal test yesterday, although they would try to convince you to have it in the computer. The reason is more work for them because they would still have to print the paper version. The advantage of this is you can review your answers unlike the computer version, you can't go back if you miss one question. This is just my honest opinion, you can follow if you decide to have the paper one.

Hi, I passed today thanks a lot to your videos 😊😊 one of the questions I found weird went something like this: If you have a minor's driving license and have your 14 year old sibling in the car and also an adult supervising, how old does the adult have to be? The answer was 25, but I immediately thought that minors weren't allowed to drive other minors so I got confused and chose the wrong answer.

And you are correct, 25 is the age for how old the person sitting next to you has to be if you are transporting minors. Here's what the DMV Handbook says specifically: Minor’s Restrictions and Exceptions When you are under 18 years old, your driver’s license will have the word provisional. As a provisional driver, you cannot drive: - Between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m. during the first 12 months you have your license. - *With passengers under 20 years old, unless your parent or guardian or other California-licensed driver (at least 25 years old) rides with you.* - For pay or operate vehicles that require a commercial Class A, B, or C license. @@Ana-oy6hm thank you and good luck on your test!! most of the questions were common sense based. there were only a couple involving road signs. i recommend just watching a few videos from this channel as the questions on the test are very similar to what they cover and also studying the basic laws of the road. i’m sure you’re going to do great :))))
