Would it be best to start with electronic kits, where you can practice soldering with an iron or hot air gun before working on PCBs with lots of components? The idea is to get used to how you are seeing what the DM is seeing, and how to adjust one's hands, tools. Thank you

I would agree that these USB digital microscopes are a very good value. I really like the 10" display on this model along with the fact that it can be made portable due to it's onboard battery. Not sure how long it would last but screen brightness will help if someone required more operating time. The screen brightness is good and has excellent resolution. The downside is it is not deep and makes working on larger assemblies difficult thus is only good for smaller PC boards. It would be great to see a sort of extension with a counter weight to facilitate larger boards. But this is something available in larger more expensive scopes I realize. Nice demonstration, well done sir.

The assembly that attaches to the base can come off so it should be pretty easy to support a larger base. I'll ask factory if they plan anything like that

@@RetroSix Thank you. That would be excellent if these scopes started to support larger bases. I usually build larger Commodore Amiga motherboards, like the Re-Amiga A1200 for example, so more space to inspect would be a nice to have feature.
