One way that I've found to keep unwanted and malevolent energies away from my pendulums is to use them inside a glass jar. Attach the pendulum chain to the lid and make sure the length of the chain is just enough so that the pendulum is suspended above the bottom of the jar but not touching when the lid is on. This also prevents a draft from moving the pendulum (and puts skeptics to rest!). None can challenge the pendulum that swings inside a still glass jar! ❤

Writing things down is always a great idea. I had a "Mirror Book" of all of the things that shape my craft. Which gods and goddesses do I recognize, what are the magical properties of crystals and herbs I like or use most often. I also wrote out ritual ideas and outlines as well as more or less journal entries or essays on what I believe a witch is, why I chose witchcraft, etc. The book served as basically a quick reference to everything My Craft. On the topic of going out and scavenging tools and other items, I also really like thrift stores and consignment shops when it comes to finding pieces that resonate with me. If I'm looking for a new piece for my altar or tool to use I generally try to find it second-hand first. It feels better to be using a thing with a bit of history versus a brand new whatever it is. Lovely video thank you for sharing!

Thank you for yet another interesting and motivating video. I try to write down as much as I can. I had a ametyst pendulum similar to yours, without the snake. But it sadly broke, not due to magic as your pendulum, but the laundry machine. I had put in my pocket for some reason, and forgot to remove it. It boke in 2 pieces, and the chain also broke. I feel the most attraction tp ametyst for some reason. The nature has always been very important to me since I was a child, loved walking alone in the forrest. I don't have any people here I know of whom are a which. Would have loved to come to your retreat, but it's a bit far to travel from Norway.

Hello Ginny. Thank you for sharing your wisdom. I am at the beginning of my journey and you have helped me become more confident in my practice. I was wondering if I can use the ashes from my house cleansing ceremony and other protection, healing or cleansing spells when creating my black salt? Or can that alter the salt after being used in previous work?
